Ava had her back towards the counter, busying herself by wiping the spilled water when she was preparing a coffee for a customer. Just then, the door chimed, telling Ava to get ready to receive a customer. She was not in the best mood as she skipped her breakfast but she still needed to put on a welcoming smile. Taking a deep breath, she put on her best smile and turn around. She was a little taken aback by the sight in front of her but she had to admit that she was a little happy. Just a LITTLE happy.
"Well, hello there, stranger. May I have your order?"
"How about some of your time after work?" A small smile crept up to his lips when he saw her smile after living without it for a while. Ava raised her left eyebrow at him and stared at him in amusement. There was a short moment of silence as they stared into each other's eyes. She was contemplating hard in her mind if she wanted to go with him or not. "Fine. I'll be off in about 10 minutes. Wait for me outside."
