Just like people said, time passed quickly when doing something. That was what Shen felt right now.
After one set each for the morning training, it was already twelve in the afternoon. Shen immediately logged out and prepared himself to go to the hospital.
His next check-up should be in the next week since he had done a check-up three days ago. However, he made a promise to Eunha that he would visit her. Yes, his purpose in visiting the hospital was to visit the little girl.
As someone who was half of his life grew up alone, Shen treasured the people close to him very much. He was not going to break the promise he made despite his situation in the game. Eunha was his priority.
Shen spent his time with Eunha until six in the evening. They had lunch together, played together, and walked around in the park. Seeing her big smile was contentment for Shen.
Until finally the little girl was tired and slept on his lap. That was a quality break time to escape from the stressful game.
Of course, everything never went smoothly and at ease. After sending Eunha to her room, Shen met with the head nurse, Sister Zheng.
"Eunha's family hasn't visited her since two weeks ago?" He was stupefied to hear this. How can they leave the little girl alone in the hospital like this?
Sister Zheng nodded her head in response. She also became uneasy with the situation.
"So no one pays Eunha's hospital fees now?" If her parents did not pay the bills, the little girl would be kicked out.
Head Nurse Zheng shook her head, "The family leaves a deposit for her hospital bills. But that's not the issue, Shen! If the family never visited her even once, this is not good for her mental health and might worsen her illness."
Sister Zheng shook her head in exasperation. She was frustrated with the Eunha family, "This is not a playground for children but a place for the sick people. She has no friends to talk with, no guardian around her. It would just be a matter of time…"
The head nurse did not finish her words. She could not bear it. If there was one thing Shen knew about sickness, people with a healthy and happy mind could help in the recovery. However, if the person was depressed or had no will to live, the chance to recover was lowered for sure. He had been there once, and Eunha was one of few that helped him pass through his darkest time.
"Have you called her parents?" Shen still could not believe that Eunha was being abandoned by her family. He just could not think that there was a parent who would do that.
"We did, but their numbers are not active anymore. The call can't connect to them," The Head Nurse shook her head and let out a sigh.
Shen had lost count of how many times Sister Zheng had been sighing. Of course, Shen was aware of why the head nurse told him this, "Then I will visit Eunha more often."
"I am sorry, Shen. But this is the only way to distract her from her family," The Head Nurse smiled in response, visibly relieved.
"It's okay," It was not like he was busy or something. He could time it out when he would visit Eunha. For example, at night in-game time where he could not go out of the village.
They chatted for a while before he bid farewell to Sister Zheng.

It was six-thirty in the evening when he arrived at his apartment. He immediately ordered dinner and washed up.
Not long after he finished taking a bath, the food arrived. He ordered dinner from the nearby restaurant hence the delivery was quick.
"I have washed my dishes, my dinner, and my water, let's continue the training!"
Training in the game, then he slept. The alarm sounded, he woke up and continued the grinding. Ordering food, sometimes he would cook for himself for the meal.
He arranged his time to visit Eunha as well. One visit every two days. That was his activity for the entire week.
In the village, Shen was standing in front of Yosu. The old man observed him with his sharp eyes before the old man gave him a nod, "Now you have the foundation, this should be enough for you to survive outside!"
Shen's eyes brightened up when he heard that. That was the best thing his Master had said in this entire week, "Even if you can kill the monster outside, it does not mean you can be slacking! You have to continue the training, understand!?"
"Yes, Master!" Shen replied firmly.
"Good! Here, my first gift for you… No, this should be the second… This should be the third one…" the old man mumbled as a sword appeared in his hand.
'Not only the player has the inventory, the NPC as well,' Shen thought to himself as he watched the sword.
Yosu threw the sword at him, "Here you are, much better sword than the one you have."
Shen caught the sword easily. The sword was not fancy-looking, no, it looked ordinary. He did not care about the exterior as he immediately checked the sword's properties.

Even though it was just one grade higher than the one he had, Shen was still delighted with the sword. It was much much better than the newbie sword.
Yosu smiled in delight as he watched his pupil appreciate the sword given by him even though it was just a common sword. The old man said nothing as he turned around, walking into the house.
"Thank you for all your teaching, Master!" Shen bowed his head at the old man while Yosu waved his hand, "Just don't die, young'un!"
Shen grinned as he checked the status.

"Butthead fish! This time I am going to kill you for sure!" With a big smile, Shen walked out of the village. He was about to have his vengeance against the fish who killed him on the land.
