She can tell who are the fans of Ms. Night because she can see that they are starting to look betrayed.
She looked at them straight in the eyes.
This startled those whom she looked at because there are a lot of fans around, but each of them were really fans of Ms. Night.
Amethyst smiled and slightly shook her head.
It was of her assuring them that what Emerald was saying were not true at all.
And even though there was no explanation, they couldn't help but to believe it.
They nodded their heads towards her, 'We will trust you for now.'
Amethyst could tell that was what they were saying.
In the end, she knew the truth will be out and the one who will be condemned is not her but Emerald instead.
Emerald thought she was silent because she was scared.
