"NOO! T-The barrier!" A young man was screaming in horror.
"Were gonna die!" A young lady with brown hair was screaming while holding her head with both of her hands.
"NO! I don't wanna die! Please save me, I will pay you gold! " A merchant holding a bag full of gold was squealing like a pig.
The people's faith and hope were crushed within seconds when they see that the cracks appeared on the golden-colored barrier.
The crowds were shocked and scared. The golden-colored barrier that keeps their life was slowly being overwhelmed by the tremendous power of the purple beam of light.
Pelo's handsome face paled when he saw the terrifying monster's beam damaged the golden-colored barrier. He gritted his teeth like a raging dragon and let out a thunderous roar.
"GET.OUT.OF MY HOMELAND MONSTER!" Pelo's roar echoed in the castle.
Julia, Alberto, Julian and everyone in the castle looked up at the direction of the familiar voice with expectation.
They see the figure Pelo flying towards the purple beam of light. His eyes were filled with determination and resolved, wearing a black robbed with glowing runes stitched to it and holding a strange black orb in his hand. He charged forward at high speed, while a huge shadowy figure suddenly materialized in his back and seemingly absorbed all the shadow within the surrounding. A faceless shadow with cold eyes and armed with vicious-looking blades were formed from the shadows. The faceless shadow was like a primordial being that only lives to bring terror and fear.
Pelo's raised his hand and compressed the shadow that formed into a ball of darkness, which then he throws it toward the beam of light.

When the ball of darkness collides with the beam of light, The beam of light dimmed a bit. Seeing this, Pelo once again formed a ball of darkness.

Pelo compressed the shadow that formed into a ball of darkness continuously and fired it toward the beam of light again and again. After the continuous collision with the [Sphere of Umbra], The terrifying monster looked at Pelo with its frightening massive eyes.

The terrifying monster whipped its thousand tentacles toward Pelo, forcing him to stop his barrage at the purple beam of light. Pelo quickly dodges away from the tentacles, but the number of tentacles is more than what he can handle. A tentacle grabbed him in the armed and pulled him closer to the other tentacles with great force.
Pelo knows he's in danger and immediately swings his arm toward the tentacle grabbing him. The fearsome shadow behind him copy his movement and slashed toward the tentacle.
Swoosh!
The fearsome shadow chopped the tentacle into halves with his vicious-looking blades. The other tentacles finally arrive in front of Pelo, but only got chopped into pieces by the same vicious-looking blades of the fearsome shadow. The terrifying monster tentacles were like paper in front of the vicious-looking blades. The terrifying monster groaned in pain, certainly not happy about being chopped by Pelo's fearsome shadow.
Suddenly the chopped tentacles of the terrifying monster healed up at an incredible speed. The chopped tentacle of the terrifying monster before became a new tentacle in a matter of minutes. The new tentacle whipped toward Pelo with such a great speed that it can't be seen by normal people eyes.
Bang!
"Argh!" Pelo spat out a mouthful of blood.
The impact makes Pelo sink deep into the ground that only half of his body can be seen, seeing the annoying human finally silent up. The terrifying monster focused its eyes toward the golded-colored barrier, and the purple beam of light resumes as if it wants to crush everything on its path into nothing.
Seeing the terrifying monster resumes its attack toward the golden-colored barrier, Pelo's body flies into the sky at a swift pace and charge toward the beam of light while gritting his teeth together. Pelo raises his right hand with a ring on it. The rings glow while a big shield appeared in front of Pelo. It was fully coated with gold and a big gem embedded in the center while a golded-radiance rune glows from it.
BOOOM!
The golded shield blocks the beam of light. Pelo uttered a chant. A golden-colored barrier appeared in front of him, but unliked the barrier from the wizard tower, this barrier can emit fires.
The beam of light power lessens significantly, and its light dimmed a lot. Pelo continued to fire a ball of darkness toward the beam of light.
HUMMMEDD!....
Suddenly a strange sound echoed in the sky. There is an ancient saying that "Sometimes when things are getting too good, something bad will happens." which came true in this situation.
Numerous stranged runes appeared around the eyes of the terrifying creatures. A purple beam of light appeared once again, but this time it was several times bigger and faster than before.
Pelo's face paled when he notices the purple beam of light heading towards him. He tried to dodge, but it was too late. The purple beam of light sends Pelo into the ground. His whole arm and right shoulder were devoured by the beam of light. You can see the protruding bone and burned internal organs from the injury while blood started to gush out from his grave injury.
"Noo! Pelo...!" Julia shouts with a face full of pained expression.
"Father!" Julian's face is painted with an anxious expression.
"Your Majesty!" Alberto speaks in horror speaks while dashing quickly toward Pelo.
Everyone in the castle was shocked and scared. The knights, the nobles, the wizards, and the people were grieving and crying in horror.
"I always believe in you, Son! I am proud that I have you as my child... Always remember everything I taught you. I am really sorry...I no longer can be with you and your mother...take care of her for me, My son.." Pelo speaks slowly while being carried by Alberto. His eyes were looking at sobbing Julian's face.
"I will never forget, Father! Thank you for everything...I am proud too that you are my Father!" Julian speaks while sobbing heavily.
"Thank you for being a wonderful wife to me... I love you, and I am sorry." Pelo speaks with a gentle voice while looking at his wife with an eye full of tenderness. Julia's face was painted with sadness while holding Pelo's hand, tears like crystal flow like a surging river on her eyes.
"Alberto, Help my family to escape. T....This is my last request to you..." Pelo's hand dropped lifelessly after speaking his last words.
"FATHER!..." Julian howled in sadness.
"PELO!...ahh!" Julia shouts her husband's name with a voice full of sorrow while calling and collapse after. Julian quickly catches his mother before she hits the ground.
CRACK!
Cracks reappeared in the golden-colored barrier because of the tremendous power of the purple beam of light. The barrier before was now like a boiled egg that full of cracks.
BOOM!
The purple beam of light pierces through the golden-colored barrier annihilating thousands of knights, wizards, and common people in the process. The beam of light dissipates, and the terrifying monster waves its thousands of huge tentacles like a whip. The incredible castle before turned into rubbles after numerous tentacles smash it. The people running away from the terrifying monster were smashed into a bloody paste or forcefully dragged away by the tentacle to be eaten by the terrifying monster, and the knights and wizards were no exception.
Wrath!
Rage!
Desperation!
Julian feels a strong sense of emotion from his heart...
"Prince Julian, Escape quickly! Run..! Run! I'll hold back the monster while you and your mother escape's..." Alberto shouts with an alarmed voice while carrying his shield and sword and raised it toward the monster.
"No! Alberto, you have to escape with us!." Julian looked at Alberto with his sad eyes. He just loses his father and doesn't want to lose another person who's close to him.
"Go! before that monster kills us all! Remember your father's words!" Alberto shouts after hearing Julian and blocks the approaching tentacles with his shield.
BANG!
Looking at Alberto's situation, Julian grits his teeth together and carries his mother to flee from the terrifying monster. He runs as fast as he could without looking back.

Alberto swings his sword and cut one of numerous tentacle. He roared and cut another one, but there are too many tentacles. Soon his body becomes a mess in front of thousands of tentacles whipping him from every direction. Alberto's struggle only lasts for a few seconds, before dying from the powerful tentacles of the monster.
After a few seconds...
The massive eye of the terrifying monster noticed Julian's escape attempt and raised some of its tentacles. The tentacle moved like a snake and approached quickly toward the young teen. It is several times faster than Julian, and only for a few seconds. It was already behind Julian's back and whipped him viciously. The impact makes Julian slump to the ground and almost dropped his unconscious mother.

Julian can feel the tentacle coming from behind and glare at the massive eye at the sky with wrathful eyes. The strong sense of wrath makes him ignore his severe injury. He raised the sword he picked up from the ground nearby while dropping his mother to the ground with his other hand gently.
WRATH! WRATH! WRATH!
"Come...You beast! I'll fucking kill you!." Julian speaks with a deep voice full of wrath and anger.

Suddenly the chest radiated a bright crimson light. His anger and wrath stimulate the second heart he had received at the ancient graveyard. His deep anger fueled the power of the demon inside of him!.
Julian's figure slowly turning into the appearance of a demon.
Two huge horns like a buffalo's appeared in Julian's head. A bone armor sprouts out in both of his shoulders and body. His figure turned into a muscular body with bulging muscle, and there is a crimson orb implanted in his chest. His Bloody eyes shine ferociously that express all of his wrath and anger. A massive bloody scythe with a scary eye materialized in his hand, staring at anyone in a crazed and frantic manner.
Julian swings the massive scythe at the closest tentacle.

Purple-blood spurts out at the chopped tentacles similar to a fountain. The massive scythe manages to cut the tentacle into two parts. The other tentacle moves like a snake and whips heavily toward Julian.
Bang!
The tentacle whip connects to Julian's chest. The impact sends him flying until he the ground a few meters away. Seeing the tentacles continues their ferocious onslaught. Julian raised his massive scythe to block the strike of one of the numerous tentacles.
Stab!
Unfortunately, the expected strike didn't come from the front but behind his back. A long tentacle penetrated Julian's back and exited out of his chest.
"Argh!" Julian spat out a mouthful of blood.
An unimaginable amount of pain raced in like a tsunami wave. The terrifying monster raised up the tentacle along with Julian into the air. He tried to struggle out of the tentacle, but the terrifying monster slammed him into the ground.
BANG!
Sounds of bones shattering could be heard from all the corners of his body. Julian's body shrimped from undergoing intense pain. As he began trembling, the tentacles slowly surrounded him. They formed an encirclement trapping Julian and his unconscious mother inside.
Julian raised his head and glared at the tentacles, His whole body trembling heavily non-stop. Now that he was facing certain death, tears pooled in his eyes. He recalled the face of his father, mother, and Alberto's smiling and laughing during their last dinner.
'I don't want to die like this...' Julian said in his mind while his demonic body was turning back into a figure of a human.
Fwoosh!
The terrifying monster moved its tentacles without a hint of emotion. Then raised it up in the air preparing to smashed Julian into a bloody paste. Even though Julian was trembling heavily, he did not avert his eyes full of unwillingness and wrath away from the massive eye of the monster.
"Creature from the void! Spreading chaos and destruction in this realm will bring you absolute death!" Suddenly a voice of a woman can be heard from the skies.
Shiiiinng!
BOOOM!
An enormous golden sword appeared in the sky and slashed the terrifying monster in half. After a few seconds, it explodes with a loud noise. The terrifying monster that ruined the city and killed thousands of people was quickly killed like that.
Julian was dumbfounded and couldn't understand what is happening right now. It was then, the voice of a female he just heard before resounded within his head.
"Poor child!... Your exceptional fate has been changed by someone from the void...I feel a familiar power inside of you. Although I can't help you to revive your father. I will help you to stimulate the power inside of you for you to use it. That should be enough to revert your fate into the right place, but this might have an unexpected outcome for the future. Will you accept my offer?." The voice in his head asked him.
'I Accept...' Julian agreed as there was no reason for him to refuse.
"Alright. a child with great fate... Stay strong and sharp as we might meet again..." The voice in his head replied with a ringing voice.
Suddenly A bright blue light appeared in his chest, and It shines brighter and brighter each second. It is so bright that within a second, it covered the entire ruined City.
