After talking to her sensei a little , she ended the phone call as her sensei wasn't a talkative kind of person , he always listened to whatever she spoke .. or maybe he was just like this around her.
She didn't really know a lot about him because he was a very secretive person . She just wished him to get together with someone who can make him feel happy .
She sighed as she thought about all these things.
Before meeting her sensei , she thought she was the person with very bad fate and felt like everybody had better lives than her.
But after meeting him, she realized that she was very wrong. Every person had their own problems but all had to cover it with a smile and act as if they are the most happiest person in this world.
It was like everyone had facade of waxes which only melted under the warmth of someone , whom they loved or felt safe with . She had many people in her life who loved her , like Luna and Cadie and many more .
But she did not want to burden them with her problems when they already had their own.
Suddenly, her phone rang making her come out of her mind.
She saw the caller id , it was her company's vice president . She picked it up .
"Hello? " came a concerned voice from the other side of the phone.
"Hii Nathan. How are you ?"
"I guess I should be the one to ask that from you but here you are..."
Jennie chuckled listening to him. He was always like this , always worrying for her like an older brother. Although, he was the younger one here.
Nathan Salvatore was the vice-president of her company. He joined it when the company was just started . Jennie met him once in a cafe where he worked as part- time waiter because he was an orphan and had to pay his bills on his own. He studied in a reputable college where he entered through a talent exam in which he received scholarship because he topped that exam.
Even after the scholarship, the fees of the college was a lot and hence he had to work his ass off . Besides doing part time job , he also tutored students .
Jennie went in that cafe that day , she was facing a error in her codes and hence she looked very frustrated. When Nathan came to serve her order , he took a quick peek at what she was facing the problem with and he immediately knew the solutions to her errors. He hesitated for a while about whether he should give his opinion to her or not. It was because she looked like a rich girl and mostly whenever someone tried to offer their advice to these kind of girls , it hurts their pride and hence they insult the person who is trying to help them . As Jennie picked her drink up , she noticed that the waiter looked like he was contemplating something and he stood on her table like a statue. She snapped her fingers in front of him as he looked like he had zoned out . Nathan broke out of his reverie when the girl in front of him snapped her fingers at him. Only then did he notice that he was still standing on her table.
"Is there something you have to say ,Mister?" asked Jennie as she looked at him.
"Umm, If you don't mind , can I give a little advice to you ?"
Jennie nodded as she was always open to feedbacks and advices unlike other rich girls of her age who took it to their pride and did not work on their weakness. Nathan was a little surprised as he expected her to insult him and leve the cafe because of his audacity to even think about giving her advice.
"The code in which you are facing error , as we can see is a runtime error . So.."
He asked her to give him the laptop which she did . And his hands worked on the keyboard flawlessly making her gape at him . She had not expected him to be this good . As he typed a string of codes on the screen , things started becoming more clear to her . She realized what she was doing wrong and sighed as it was not a tough error but her mind seems to be clogged with other things going on in her life making her frustrated.
She thanked him as he was a major help to her and as a return for his favour , she gave him her contact , so that she could hire him in her company which was just going to be launched in a few days. He looked very skilled but it seemed like he had lack of opportunities which she was willing to give him.
Nathan hesitantly took her contact. The next day, he contacted her as he just wanted to know what kind of work she was giving him and if it was a suitable one , he would accept it . And after that , they got to know each other and he was given the vice-president position of their Company because of his exceptional skills and talent. He was eighteen at that time and Jennie twenty . They both were very young but because of his skills and Jennie's business mind , they survived in the industry . And today , they are at the top of their industry.
Who would have thought that just going to cafe one day , would give her such an amazing business partner and also a little brother ? Life sure has its own plans for you , no matter which path you choose, it will , at the end take you to the chosen destination.
