"What do you want me to do?" They stood there, hand-in-hand staring at each other, not sure what to do with themselves. Finally, snapping out of the trance called Frey, Mircea coughed. "We have to show up at the coronation ceremony. If we don't show up now they will suspect something."
"So you want me to go through the whole ceremony smelling you? Not to point out that everybody else would smell you, too." At his last sentence all the air puffed out of her lungs.
"They can do that? Saints, I didn't think about it." Mircea bit inside her cheeks as she looked around them, contemplating how the day had turned into this so fast!
"You said you need time to think, have you made any decision yet?" Frey pulled her attention back to himself.
She had made the decision, but right now she couldn't quite find the right words to explain what she had in mind. So she nodded at him, first trying to gather the words.
