The question lingered: Why did she kiss him back?
She could have pushed him, better yet climbed off his body but she hadn't done any of that. She hated him and even after knowing that she had kissed him. How treacherous her body had been at that point!
"Cat got your tongue?" Frey smirked at her wordlessness.
"I'm just racking my brain about how I didn't think straight for a minute there, you know by kissing you and all." Mircea had totally forgotten they were standing in front of a crowd and that it was almost afternoon and the fighting would begin. Where the men thought they would rule Cetus better than Frey were given a chance.
"I see." Frey made a thinking face, gazing down for a long second before he looked at her with glazing eyes, "In that case, I will give you sometime." Gone was the reluctance with which he had left her that day after the kiss.
