Over the next couple of days, Lucy's morning sickness persisted, sometimes leaving her drained for hours. Tom adjusted his work schedule to be with her, mostly working from home, and on days when he had to go to the office, he made sure someone was there to check on her. He learned her triggers— strong smells, certain foods— and worked tirelessly to keep her comfortable.
He also worked more closely with Amy and the wedding planner so as to reduce the stress on Lucy.
As a result of this, Amy did most of the work at LP Luxe Apparel and only brought some paperwork that needed Lucy's signature and authorization home.
On Saturday, she decided to host the ladies at home because she was feeling too fatigued to dress up and go out.
With the wedding only a few weeks away, she had planned a special surprise for the girls, and she couldn't wait to share it with them.
