63. NEW ERA Part 12. A Face of Threat
Alexander is in stable condition. But within a week, on the advice of doctors and healers, he was still placed in a coma to optimize the healing of his spine.
Alexander was tied to a Rotating Bed, a special medical bed for spinal cord injuries, working to shift body pressure so that bruising does not occur because he remains in one position without moving Alexander's position. Doctors and healers gave us hope; we had to be patient until the healing process went well.
"In two weeks we'll be releasing him from the induction coma." Doctors and healers agree on their system of care. I can only hope for the best. "We hope that there are no other problems other than spinal cord injury."
The clan's special nurse took good care of him. I used to spend time talking to him every day, reading him the news and joking around. Though in the end, Cara and I mostly said nice things so she wouldn't get stressed.
