Nephthys or Nebet-Het in Ancient Egyptian (Greek: ) is a goddess in Ancient Egyptian religion. Members of the Great Ennead of Heliopolis in Egyptian mythology, Princess Geb (God of Earth) and Nut (Goddess of the Cosmic)
In ancient tomb inscriptions, Nephthys is usually paired with Isis because of their duties as protectors of the mummy and god Osiris and the wife -Seth's brother.
She is revered as the goddess of mourning, the goddess of rivers, the goddess of the night, the goddess of service, the goddess of birth, motherhood, the protector of spirits and funerals, and the goddess of air.
