I walked into the hall for breakfast with Ahiga's hands in my hand. I'm feeling good because of my rapid progress in the search, and there's only a dozen place left unaccounted for.
Ahiga does have a lot of energy and fun around them. I like his spirit very much. We joke like teenagers. I clung to his arm and laughed at the jokes he'd made.
"Alexa, we should talk" Alexander suddenly emerged from the hall and pulled me up.
"Haah," I was surprised he suddenly appeared in front of me.
"What's the matter?" the rest of my laugh is still hanging while I'm still holding Ahiga's arms.
"Come with me" he grabbed my hand, so I let go of Ahiga.
"Hey, wait a minute!" I protested for being pulled suddenly.
"Ahiga, I'll catch up with you in a minute." Ahiga just nodded while I was forced to follow Alexander because he pulled me over.
"Alex, don't pull me over. What do you want to talk about? Let go of me. Your grip hurts!" I protested, but he didn't care and pulled me along until I found a quiet corner of the mansion.
"What the hell are you! Why did you have to pull me out like that!" I was angry because I felt he didn't heed my request and forced me with his strength. I stroked my aching hand.
"Don't go showing off your intimate with a werewolf in public if my parents see that you're in trouble! They're still here."
"Intimate? Are you fucking crazy? Ahiga is our friend!" My voice is high-pitched.
"Leaning your body over another man's body while laughing laughter and holding his hands in his hand? Everyone would say it's intimate!" He didn't want to lose.
"It's just in your mind. Why are you jealous or afraid I'm making out with Ahiga?"
"You don't understand. You've crossed your limits!" He took my hand tightly.
"Get off me." I tried to rebel, but I could not keep up with his strength. He pulled me to a more protected angle.
"My mom and dad are here. What if they see you making out with another man. You'll ruin clan cooperation! Are you making a scene here? Do you understand your actions? Behave yourself!" His voice was low but oppressive.
"Ahiga and I are just friends, and you know that!" I won't accept being scolded. Whoever he dares to determine how I behave with my friend. What a dictator.
"Friends don't embrace each other like that. Act naturally. It's not that I forbid you, but you have to consider what others see!"
"So, you now have to set my attitude to my friend how? So small your world."
"You're stubborn! Would you mind proceeding as you wish? If someone rebukes you later, and it's from my mother to your grandfather, and there's a family meeting, don't blame me for not reminding you!" Alexander went right after saying that.
"Setter once! Just one day, we're officially introduced. You've been organizing my life towards my attitude towards my friend! What do you want to make me your prisoner?" I continued so violently, and I didn't accept being pulled around so lightly. Anger was still flaring in my chest.
Alexander stopped, he froze and then turned to me. A flash of anger now flashed in his eyes. His right hand hit the wall behind me in anger. It made my body get against the wall. I choked, I teased him, but I'm not going to give up. I refuse to be intimidated by his bullying and remain defiant to his eyes.
"Mind your words, Alexa, and you don't know what a prisoner is. If I were to do it, I would have given you up in a second. I'm just saving you from your indiscretions. Don't pretend you're the king's daughter who can do anything. If you're the king's daughter here, you should behave yourself."
He was silent for a moment.
"You should look at what I'm saying as advice, not against you!"
Our eyes stared at each other for a moment at a distance before I threw my eyes to the side. I wouldn't say I like this alliance. My eyes are hot, but I won't cry and make him feel victorious.
We fell silent long after fighting with each other. I looked the other way and didn't want to see it at all. He seems to be eased up with my place.
"Hear my words, for what you bear are not your own but the fate of your people. If my mother or father was offended by your behavior, my mother seems friendly, but if she's been offended, she'll make trouble. They could have broken this matchmaking plan. It would help if you thought about a series of events. Because it will not only affect you or your family but the whole clan and even people." His voice changes quiet.
Alexander sighed frustratingly.
"Sorry if I pulled you back there; I didn't mean to hurt you." I still would not look at him, bow my head, and not see him. It's not that easy to make peace with him.
"Let's go back to the main hall. My mother and father were there with your family and Chairman Watapio, so I immediately grabbed you." Now I look at him.
I walked back into the hall in silence. Alexander followed me beside him. As soon as he came, I saw a large desk filled with the Aegis core family and advisers, the leaders of the Ostrander Clan and Werewolf troupe, including Ahiga. They ate together to encourage the legions on duty.
"Let's join in, get regular."
Alexander walked beside me. We joined the crowd, Alexander's mother, who caught me waving. She was having a friendly conversation with my mother. He wasn't lying when he told me his mom and dad and our whole family were here.
"Dear Alexa, come sit with us. Alex would please get Alexa a chair."
Alexander quickly fetches me a chair, and I joined the conversation like there was nothing before. At the same time, Alexander joined Evan, Daniel and Ahiga in the other seats.
Finally, the breakfast show went well and smoothly without any incident. Though the whole show stopped talking to AlexanAlexander

I still avoid meeting Alexander since yesterday's incident. I know the warning he gave was accurate. It would be weird if I showed up with Ahiga in the dining room, and our family saw it. But I haven't been able to speak to him. I don't know, and it feels like I'm still lazy to talk to him. If I see it, I'll instantly seek other avenues to avoid it.
Better no contact of any kind now. And it is better to avoid his practical attitude that is always firm and cold.
I bused myself with my duties and locked myself in the control center room, and there was a new place coming in. From aerial observations, the region was located on the border between Spain and Portugal, named Bandajoz. And this time, there was still activity. I saw pictures submitted by drone surveillance squads.
A large building similar to the old fort surrounded an agricultural area. The characteristics of these buildings are somewhat different, and we usually find buildings with remote locations. Yet this time, the buildings are mingled in one village.
"This is a strange location, a village," I spoke with Ahiga sitting with me watching the primary monitor.
"But according to our scouts, there's no sign of any dark spells at all. But his activity only increased." Ahiga chimed in my words.
"You're right, and this place is crowded."
"But why has it not been detected by dark forces? Is it possible now that they have found a way to hide their powers completely?" I thought hard. It needs to be checked right away.
"There's a major Witch, Mae, there. Can you have her come to the control room now?" I have to ask the senior witch what might have been. I saw a map of the village on the drone surveillance data. Although it is crowded, the village seems somewhat isolated from its territory.
Only one main entrance is accessible overland. The other three sides are bounded by mountains and canyons and the rivers that cross the entrance. The entrance to the village is a bridge in a swiftly flowing river. Which also became a vast farming site running along the river's side.
"Alexa, what's up?" Witch Mae Osweli, one of the main witches of 33 special capable major witches. She has the ability of mind magic through sound, control of nature and animals.
"We found a strange place out of 40 places we were looking for. A terisostream farming village, it is estimated there are about 3,000 people in it. But here it is, completely undetected dark aura. I suspect they found a spell to hide from us." I told the story to Witch Mae.
'I'd have to hold people exposed to that spell to figure it out, Alexa. Can't be without touch."
"Is it that?" If they could hide like this, it could be a hinder for us to search the world. Sooner or later, this must be ensured to not search in vain and spend money on a useless search operation.
"I'll call Evan" Evan turns out to be on a break, surgery overseen by his staff.
"Master Mae, I think we have to make sure of this. Otherwise, the clans will be in vain deploying their efforts to search operations around the world. We only need to arrest one person. "
"Yeah, maybe some people so that we can be sure."
"We're infiltrating with a spell-busting, and I'll bring some invading witches to protect us."
"Fine, let's do it." Witch Mae approves.
I handed over command of surveillance to Drake senior and took four of the attacking witches with us.
Soon we arrived at the edge of the village with a vortex opened by the search squad.
With a busting spell, we flew and got into the village and stood on the roof of a big house. Witch Mae and I tried to make sure by feeling the aura around us, and we didn't feel any dark aura around us.
The big old fort was not far from that house, and many people were out going into that fort. A man fresh out of the fort was walking alone on a deserted corner of a sheltered street.
"That guy, we can check it out without making a fuss. He was out of the castle building." Witch Mae and his legions of attackers saw the direction I was pointing.
"Fine, let's do it. We pull him into the corner of that building." An invading witch pointed to a sheltered bush beside a wall of an old, seemingly uninhabited house.
We are conferring security measures. Witch Mae and I will knock him unconscious. And four others will stand guard. We moved quickly. Our target passed out in an instant, being hit by a throw of energy. I quickly caught his body and dragged him into a tall bush.
"I need five minutes for scanning meditation." Witch Mae starts cross-legged picks on a date with a woman we lay on the ground.
"Fine."
We all looked around. At the same time, the other four attackers watched the scene from above. Everything seems to be quiet, with no suspicious sounds or movements around us.
A few minutes later, a rune recognized the woman in red. Witch Mae seems to have found something. She draws new runes on top of old ones. As she touched her forehead with a rune, a loud cry was released by her. It poured out into the surrounding region.
Bad! I looked straight into the area around me. The attackers upstairs have been alerted.
"25 meters to your left, someone will come."
"Witch Mae, we have to go!"
"Fine, let's go."
We left the woman in protective undergrowth. And fly to where we were before. The person who came looking for it was called someone.
Before long, a loud chime hung in the distance. The alarm has been sounded.
"They were all influenced by a dark aura. There are powerful spells that hide their power."
"Senior Drake, you heard that?" I'm connected to the command center.
"I heard, get out of there immediately. You have no backup center," Senior Drake warned us.
"We're moving to the first team site now." We all head north toward large fields of corn to cross the river and meet up with the first team.
But before we could make our move, the church bells went silent throughout the village and in the towers where a speaker could hear a mantra that was strange in his language. And echoing through the countryside where the first team felt the energy of the spell. Somehow feeling the energy of the spell weakens us.
The spell was shouted at by all the villagers simultaneously. Our strength weakens, so Suddenly, we can't even maintain our altitude. Our veil of invisibility faded and revealed our figure.
"It's a charm to moisten the aura. We have to hide." Witch Mae reminded us.
"We hid in that field. Wait for help while looking for the closest point out." We descended and went in between the spreading fields of corn.
"Hold on a second. I'll ask backup for you," across from senior Drake, asking us to wait.
We moved in quiet silence to the north, trying not to cause movement among the clumps of corn. The sounds of mantras shouted by the populace were getting closer behind. They know our location, but they're uncertain. Some shots into the mid-water made us thump with suspense.
The energy of a thousand spells simultaneously suppressed our aura in such a way that all we could do was trying to avoid it—this time, whether we got away without our powers.
