I saw Uncle Clayton at his desk. Aiyana isn't there, and maybe she's gone home. It's already late. I have to make sure I don't hurt the mate. The only ones who know this must be me, him, Mom, and Aunt Aurora.
I don't want to destroy his relationship with his mate.
"Uncle where is Aiyana?" Uncle Clayton might be surprised why I suddenly asked Aiyana.
"He's home, you're looking for him?"
"No, I was just making sure."
"Ensure?" That might be a suspicious tone. Why should I make sure Aiyana is home.
"Can we talk for a minute Uncle? In the meeting room only. Between us" He looked at me for a while. He must have felt something was wrong because I was talking to him like this. "It won't do any harm, I just wanted to talk." I'm afraid now he won't hear me.
"Okay. Come on."
We went to the meeting room, and I locked the door. He sat and looked at me, who had to try to calm me down.
