We spent five days quietly. They had secretly managed to break the chain of support for six more clan chiefs so that now there were 27 clans left.
And ten days, Aurora is safe. There are only 18 days left for us to live with care.
And today, Cara gave herself to dinner with Jacob. She wears a loose black dress that is plain and a bit old fashion to say she is in mourning. Neither of us was at all excited about this shitty task.
"I definitely have to refrain from giving him a raw punch. Or spit it out at this torturous dinner." Cara grimaced when she said it to me.
"Or put poison in his drink" I tried to laugh.
"Eighteen more days honey, we'll do it together."
I can't let him go alone. Many worries were lodged in my mind, so I decided to join him.
"Eighteen more days, eighteen."
Now Cara sighs over and over again.
"And I will beat him."
