"Uncle, can you resist magic energy attacks?" Cara looked at Clayton with admiration after hearing her mother's story.
"Do you have some spell when forming the shield," Cara spoke to Clayton in the dining room when he returned from Stuttgart the next day? He had to take care of the clan he had killed the leader of.
"We have a special spell that protects warriors who have been sworn in to protect the clan. The power level is bounty-dependent. Or sometimes it depends on the determination and belief of the fighter himself."
"It was great." Clayton just smiled at the girl's admiration.
"It's noon. You don't rest?"
"I slept in the break room this morning." Cara smiles big now. "Thank you for taking care of me, dear Uncle. You are such an understanding mate."
"You better stop calling me honey. You'll be matched by your mother later." Cara wince, amused.
