"Miss Cara" Cara turned to the person calling her. He was at the Ostrander Mansion in Paris. Her mother was talking to Chief Valerie and Joanne.
"Mr. Jacob" A dashing man came in front of Cara. She knew the man. Her father and Mr. Jacob frequently met to discuss business.
"How is your father doing?"
"He's still unconscious for now."
"I was very surprised to hear that your father was injured. I was in London yesterday when I received the news. I hope he gets better soon." Those words of sympathy seemed to be said sincerely.
"Thank you. Doctor said he is recovering. We hope he will recover as soon as possible."
"I heard from Mrs. Joanne there is a spinal injury" Cara looked at this man. After his father was badly injured, all would hope that he would never recover. Because then he wouldn't be the second person in the Ostrander Clan anymore. There will be a struggle for a position to follow.
