"Whe- where am I," said Sara anxiously.
She looked around. The ground was purple and swampy. The walls oozed with purple swamp dripping down slowly.
"Is this Sally's consciousness?" Sara asked herself, "why does it look so gloomy."
Sara got up and started walking towards the only path available straight ahead. Her footsteps echoed in the emptiness of this place. At last she arrived at what seems to be a chamber holding the entity in charge of this place. She slowly lifted her foot and put it forward. She took a big gulp and pressed on. "I wonder what lies ahead," she said as she entered the chamber.
"GUi- GUiLtyy-," said a screeching voice, "GuiLTyy-," it kept on repeating.
Sara's eyes widened in shock. A dark purple swampy creature emerged from the chamber's swampy ground. Its eyes glowed red. Its mouth opened wide, "GUiLty! SaLLy! YoU aRe GuiLty! YoU arE ReSPOnsiBLe fOr SaRA's dEaTH," it said in a freakishly voice.
"N- no! That can't be real!" said Sara as she understood what was going on, "Sally! Why would you ever think this way! You didn't do this. You are not at fault," she said.
The swampy monster swung its long swampy fist at Sara.
"This monster must have been created from Sally's feelings of guilt," said Sara ducking down to the ground dodging the swampy monster's attack, "I have to get rid of this thing and set Sally's mind at peace! I must destroy this monster," said Sara.
She dashed towards the monster in a flash and threw her fist at it punching it, "take that you monster," she said.
Her hand drowned inside the monster's belly as it looked down on her.
"He- he hee hee," she chuckled nervously trying to pull her hand out of the swampy belly.
"RAWR!" thundered the swampy monster with a loud roar and punched Sara sending her flying to the other side of the chamber.
"GAAAAAH!" she yelled as her body crashed onto the wall and fell to the ground.
"Huff huff," she panted as she crouched," I must defeat this monster if Sally is to ever feel at peace again," she said feeling responsible for Sally's despair.
The monster slid towards Sara at with great speed, and as it was about to crash with her she hopped to the side letting the monster crash into the wall.
"Phew," she sighed in relief.
The monster turned around facing Sara and it extended its arms shooting bullets of swampy balls at her. Sara covered her face as the swarm of barraging bullets sent her off her feet crashing onto the wall behind her then she fell to the ground on her face.
"Ho- how am I supposed to beat this thing," she said as she crouched panting. Her vision was getting blurry, "I'm seeing doubles," she said looking at her hand when her hand all of a sudden phased. "What's this," she said, "could it be! I am a ghost after all! Am I able to phase out," she asked herself. "Let me try it," she said as she got up on her feet confidently with a smug smirk on her face. "Let's do this you ugly monster," she said as she took a step forward.
The monster extended its arms again and like before shot a swarm of barraging bullets at Sara.
"NOT THIS TIME," yelled Sara as she phased her entire body letting the bullets pass through her, "I- I'm doing it!" she said happily as her phasing ended while she was in the middle of the barraging bullets and immediately she took a punch to the face with one of the bullets sending her flying. She lied on the ground for a bit trying to muster enough strength to stand up again.
"GUiLTyy---" screeched the monster as it slid fast towards the incapacitated Sara and just as it was about to trample her Sara got up in a flash, phased out, and entered the monsters body.
"I'LL BLOW YOU UP FROM THE INSIDE," she yelled as she exploded with a beaming light of energy from within the swampy monster sending its pieces flying in all directions. She fell down to the ground crouching huffing and panting and grasping for air.
"I finally did it. I blew the monster up," said Sara as a portal opened up in the middle of the chamber, "that must be the exit," said Sara as she entered the portal existing Sally's mind and returning the real world.
"What's this! No way! Time didn't move at all while I was in that other realm," said Sara as she looked around her, "one thing did change though," said Sara looking at the smiling Sally who was weeping before she entered her mind. "You look at peace Sally," said Sara looking at Sally, "promise me you will always be happy," said Sara comforting Sally. "You are not responsible for this. It is not your fault."
A tear of joy dripped down from Sally's eye to her cheek, "Sara I hope you are at peace," said Sally looking up at the sky.
"Erm please ma'am. We need you to focus with us for a bit," said the chief to Sally.
"Yes sir," replied Sally to the chief.
The ambulance took Sara's corpse and Sally headed with the chief towards the police office to testify to all she knows.
"I have to follow them," said Sara in a panic as she rushed towards the police office to hear everything about her case, "I will get my revenged," she said with determination as she listened in closely to the investigation.
