Sara was laying on her stomach on her bed reading the weekly release of comics on her favorite magazine as her phone rings up:
"Hellooo, Sara! How are you," said Sally with an excited voice.
"Aren't you in a good mood," chuckled Sara.
"Why wouldn't I be! It's finally the weekend! I am meeting with a bunch of friends tonight at the sushi restaurant and I was wondering if you would like to join us," said Sally.
"Definitely! I'm on my way," exclaimed Sara as she hung up.
She opened up her closet and pulled out a pair of light blue jeans and a white long sleeved shirt and put them on.
"See ya mom! I'm heading out to meet with Sally," said Sara as she put on her shoes and opened her house door.
"Hahaha! You young girls enjoy yourselves, and don't be too late," said Sara's mom.
"Don't worry. I'll be back before midnight," said Sara as she left her house and headed to where she was supposed to meet up with Sally.
She stood besides a light pole reviewing past text messages on her phone and all of a sudden a screeching cat runs away fast from an alley that was right behind her.
"What's up with that kitty," thought Sara to herself as she took a step inside the alley, "I think I see someone.., no wait! There are two people. I wonder what they are doing in ther-" and a big iron rod came crashing down on her head from behind killing her.
"Boss I caught this girl trying to peek in on our business," said the thug with a heavy deep voice.
Sara fell to her knees then crashed to the ground on her face surrounded by a pool of her blood that was gushing from her head when all of a sudden her phone starts ringing.
"Come onnn... where are you Sara," said Sally badgered standing besides the light pole where she agreed to meet Sara in.
*Ring* *Ring* Ring*
"Hmmm? Isn't that Sara's phone's ringtone," questioned Sally as she headed to the alley where the ringing was coming from shouting Sara's name, "SARA!"
"Oh CRAP!," said the thug, "looks like we have company. I think it this girl's friend."
"Hurry! Scram," said the other thug and they all scattered away and ran from the crime scene.
"Sara? Are you here," said Sally as she entered the alley. She looked to the ground, "Sa- Sara?!"
She took a step back in fear. Her eyes filled with shock, "no.., that can't be real!" She crumbled to the ground, "SARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
A crowd of people gathered around her. Murmur filled the area, "call the cops," said one guy. "Don't touch the crime scene," said another. "Make room," said a third.
Police sirens grew loudly as the cops came.
"So what happened here?" asked the chief.
"I- I was supposed to meet with my friend to go out to a sushi restaurant, but when I arrived she was dead," said Sally.
"Any idea who could have done this? Anyone see anybody suspicious at all?" asked the chief.
"No. I have just arrived. I haven't seen anybody at all," said Sally.
"Argh.. what's going on here," she said as she opened her eyes. She got up slowly. She looked around, "Sally?" she looked to the other side, "cops?" she looked at the ground, "i- is that me?" questioned Sara. She looked at her feet, "I- I don't have a shadow!" she exclaimed, "a- am i a ghost?!" she said, "only one way to test it out". "Sally! Can you hear me? Chief! Can you see me!" she shouted to no avail.
As Sara was examining her surroundings a portal as big as Sally leading to Sally's heart and mind opened up swirling in front of Sally.
"Ca- can I enter that!" said Sara surprised as she headed towards it.
She inserted one hand inside the portal and closed her eyes in anticipation then she slowly leaned into the portal and passed her whole body in it and instantaneously she was teleported to another realm.
