Plus from haunted cemetery he also got vital Strike skill dropped by on the undead zombie. Both of the skill make Allan a bit confident on grinding more level in a quick manner.
Upon arriving out of doors of the place, he noticed a small slender store front. However, after entering, the indoors area turned into without a doubt pretty large—more or less five by ten meters. Weapons for each profession can be visible lined up on each the left and proper aspects of the wall. Common equipment for all professions can also be visible placing from the rear wall of the store: bows, crossbows, small daggers, etc…
The store crammed to the brim with equipment was a wonderful show for the eyes.
The weapon store's proprietor turned into a fierce looking blacksmith, appearing to be in his forties.
"The weapons I forge are the first-class inside the whole vicinity of the Western Prairies! Respected adventurers, may also I ask what you require?" Seeing business arrive, the blacksmith came up to greet him in a active sincere tone.
"Bow, or crossbow." / "Let's see… what sort of bow or crossbow are you searching for? The equipment I actually have right here can meet all of the necessities of adventures who are Level five or lower."
"Level 0, one which I can use. Attack +three or more, and Firing Rate of 12 or more." Allan Mist thought for a moment, and added, "The rate should be inside thirty coppers."
"I actually have 3 pieces of equipment that meet your criteria. The first is a quick bow. Attack +three, Firing Rate is 15, Attack Deviation of 14%, and a Range of Twenty five meters. The rate is seven copper coins." The Blacksmith took out a quick bow, and presented it to Allan Mist.
"Do you've got something better? Perhaps some thing with a higher accuracy?"
He had a task he desired to finish. And though the quick bow might suffice, having some thing better might save him time.
"Well, I additionally have this lengthy bow. It has Attack +fifteen, Firing Rate of 12, Deviation of 15%, and Range of thirty five meters. The rate is 20 coppers." The Blacksmith took out an extended bow and offered it. Afterward, he took out an brilliant one-handed crossbow. He loaded it with five bolts, then propped it up together along with his arm and aimed it across the store. "If that doesn't please you, then this is my best piece of work, the only I'm most proud of. A Combat crossbow with a triple-shot effect, Attack +fifteen, Firing Rate of 12. Furthermore, as a result of its supplementary firing ability, the Firing Rate of a single shot is examined at 25. It has a deviation of five percent, and a range 40 meters. The rate is thirty-eight coppers."
"I'll take it. Give me nine medium-grade crossbow bolt quivers as well," Allan Mist said. Each quiver contained one thousand high-grade crossbow bolts; it turned into honestly enough.
Allan Mist spent 5-seven coppers to complete the transaction, leaving him with out a single copper remaining which he had earned himself by those quest. He saved the crossbow and nine quivers he had lately bought into his bag area.
"Feel free to come again respected adventurer. I wish you a safe journey."
Before going to Haunted cemetery he once came across a boss and looking around he also found a good vantage point through which he was sure he could exploit the terrain advantage and take down the boss given behind the boss there were 3 unknown treasure chest which can be used to train his unlock skill he had picked up recently.
Allan Mist left the boundaries of Telic city and hurried over towards the Level 8 Taurus spawn area. The Taurus monsters were even more dangerous than the Wildcats. They had extremely powerful attacks, and their movement speeds were also much faster than the Wildcats. In fact, they were more than three times faster than Allan Mist with his current stats. When facing against these Taurus, there was essentially only death and no chance of survival.
Currently, there was not a single player whatsoever who dared to face off against a Level 8 monster. Even if they were currently the highest level player in the game, they still wouldn't dare.
Passing through a vast expanse of prairie land, Allan Mist, at last, arrived at a region of barrens and stone. As far as the eye could see, lofty and oddly shaped boulders were irregularly strewn throughout the area. Within this mess of boulders were narrow cracks and passageways.
It should be right here. Allan Mist surveyed the expanse for a moment. After confirming without a doubt that these were the correct coordinates, he became especially vigilant and began slowly sneaking around. This region was where Taurus actively roamed about. The whole area permeated with a sense of dread and danger. Cautiously, he squeezed himself into one of the narrow passageways within the boulders.
The topography of this region was strange and eccentric. The narrow passageways within these boulders only allowed enough space for a single person to pass through. As he looked out after going through the narrow passageway, a dark-coloured Bison in an area at a distance of about twenty-six meters away entered his vision. Large and robust, its entire body was densely packed with muscle. Above its head, two sharp horns resembling the tips of daggers protruded out.
Taurus Guard (Leader): Level 8
Health: 3000/3000
Allan Mist took out his crossbow and held it with his left hand. He began calibrating it, making sure the angle was just right.
By lucky coincidence, the Taurus Guard was within his attacking range. Due to its body size being so massive, even if it were to discover his presence, it was still unable to traverse the narrow passageways within the mess of boulders. As a result, it was completely incapable of attacking him.
This was a typical terrain exploit!
By employing this exploit, Allan Mist could bypass the level disparity and effortlessly kill this Taurus Guard!
Allan Mist began loading the crossbow with bolts. After three seconds, three crossbow bolts were completely loaded and the crossbow was cocked and ready to fire.
Wsh! Wsh! Wsh! Three bolts were fired in rapid succession, flying in a straight line right towards the Taurus Guard.
Put! Put! Put The three crossbow bolts hit the Taurus Guard nearly simultaneously.

The damage were low to attack deviations but except that looking at the accuracy Allan Mist was quite happy about it.Three damage values floated above the Taurus Guard's head. Due to the level disparity between both sides being too large, Allan Mist's attacks against the Taurus Guard were weak. Most of the time it would be a miss and even if it did hit the target, it would only cause a little bit of damage.
After it had been attacked, the Taurus Guard huffed out a large amount of musty air and began its mad charge towards Allan Mist's location.
Boom! A large crashing sound burst out. The Taurus Guard had charged into the boulders and was repelled back. Its attack was unable to reach Allan Mist. It could only turn around and circle the boulders, without having any other course of action.
Allan Mist skilfully finished reloading the crossbow and like before, shot out three bolts in rapid succession towards the Taurus Guard.
Although the damage was extremely low, under Allan Mist's continuous and unrelenting attacks the Taurus Guard's health bar began showing signs of declining ever so slightly. However, it was awfully slow, merely falling by the smallest amount. Every now and then, it even recovered by a slight fraction.
Allan Mist's rate of fire was quite stable. After suffering his attacks, the Taurus Guard bellowed out furiously, precisely because it was incapable of even nearing Allan Mist.
Everything went as smoothly as expected. Allan Mist was attacking the Taurus Guard while figuring out the next step in his levelling strategy. After his previous life Experiences, if he were like others trying to find a place to level, it would truly be an insane and worthless, given the waste of his time will be harder to gain in the near future. Given a mercenary best way to kill the target is to find a great vantage point and snipe.
The seconds and minutes continued to pass by. After half an hour, Allan Mist had completely used up all of the crossbow bolts within one quiver—a thousand crossbow bolts! At present, the Taurus Guard still had approximately two-thirds of its health remaining.
The uninterrupted process of reloading and shooting made Allan Mist feel himself about to fall asleep. However, he still spent great effort in maintaining his high frequency of firing, so as to avoid having the Taurus Guard's health recover again after he ceased his attacks.
The Taurus Guard began getting somewhat weary. It continually strained for breath as it anxiously rammed against the rocks and collapsed a portion of the boulders.
Allan Mist hung up and accelerated the firing rate of the crossbow in his hand. One after another, arrows continued to rapidly leave the crossbow and shoot out.
Firing for one and a half hours, he had consumed around three- ninety crossbow bolts. Mooo! At long last, the Taurus Guard let out a final agonizing cry before staggering to the ground. The massive body smashed heavily towards the earth, and Allan Mist could even feel the vibrations under his feet.
Allan Mist estimated a bit: if he had used the short bow, killing the Taurus Guard would have taken at least five hours in addition to consuming over ten thousand arrows. Fortunately, this single-handed crossbow with its additional skill saved him quite a bit of time.
System: You've successfully slain a Taurus Guard. +1800% experience for killing a monster above your level. You have received 8290 experience points. Allan Mist glanced at his experience bar, he had reached Level 5 with 33% of his experience bar already filled. The experience gained from killing the Taurus Guard was definitely enormous.
After finally completing his task, Allan Mist put away the crossbow in his hand and walked over towards the Taurus Guard's corpse. Searching under the Taurus Guard's dead body, he found that it dropped five coppers. In addition, he also managed to pick up a light sword. Sword are categorised into 2 type light sword, heavy sword and One handed sword. where one handed sword was the heaviest given for Berserk and light sword were for Assassin who mainly rely on speed.
According to his plans, he gathered the Taurus Guard's drops and stored away the bronze grade dagger into his bag space. Allan Mist retreated from the narrow passageways within the boulders and headed back towards Treasure chest, which were shining under the light.
A treasure chest!
Loot that was found in treasure chests was like the loot awarded for killing elite monsters. In the previous world, Thieves who opened treasure chests were all very wealthy. So he approached the chest and cast his Unlock spell.
[Unlock]: 10 second cast time, 2 minute cool down, opens locked chests and doors. Skill Proficiency 1/1000
The chest slowly opened, and he reached into it and felt around, pulling two items out with his hand.
