Julien was confused, which they were completely comfortable with since confusion was not an abnormal state for Julien. What was disconcerting to them was the fact that they were alone. Being surrounded by admirers and platonic friends alike for practically every moment of every day, the unfamiliarity with solitude gave Julien the chills.

Goosebumps rose upon their skin as their ears desperately tried to hone in on any sound. To hear any footstep, rustling, vulgarity... really any sound to denote another human being was somewhere in their vicinity. The only sounds that Julien did hear while focusing all their attention to sound were in fact human. Unfortunately the only human those very sounds came from was Julien themself.

Focusing on sound was not doing Julien any favors towards alleviating their uneasiness with their unaccustomed isolation. Shifting their attention towards sight seemed to be a reasonable next step. If not to find a companion, then perhaps to find a distraction. Luckily a distraction was eventually found.

The walls of the small room were dark gray. A bold red stripe cascaded horizontally across the entirety of the enclosed space; at least the entirety of the space Julien was focusing on until a red cube next to the red cot caught their eye. More interesting than the cube itself was what was on top of it. A small hole with a circumference no bigger than a needle was in the center of the cube with scissors to the left of the hole and a needle to the right. Slight excitement welled within Julien. They knew exactly what to do.

The gray jumpsuit Julien has been wearing seemed a bit drab. Comfortable yet drab. Usually crafts were done in a group, but Julien knew they could be just as fun
