Long Wuhan returned to the Lan Residence bathed in the dwindling sunlight, where he encountered the old master, who had just arrived, and couldn't hide his surprise.
"Why are you here?"
Long Wuhan looked at the old master in front of him and frowned, his tone rather unpleasant.
Long Ao glanced at his son, who appeared travel-worn and seemed to have grown thinner and darker, coughed a few times, and replied, "I heard about Chu Ting and Ziran's situation and came to take a look."
"What's there to look at?"
Long Wuhan retorted with a furrowed brow but didn't stop him from entering. He gave him a glance and then moved slightly aside, his tall and erect stature stepping back behind Long Ao.
Seeing this, Long Ao's rigid expression softened a bit. He started heading into the Lan Residence, calling back, "So what if I want to look around, isn't that allowed?"
The old master made this petulant remark and quickly disappeared through the door.
"Did I say it wasn't allowed?"
