"Cato?Cato?"

A faint voice passed through his ears as his eyes slowly fluttered open as he blinked the blurriness away

As his sight got clear, he noticed the cross and the rosary in his hand... he groaned as he sat upon the floor... Massaging his temple, he got up and went upstairs as he put the rosary and the cross again to his aunt's room

He went to the kitchen as he got a towel. He took ice from the refrigerator and wrapped it with the towel as he made his way to the dining table

Sitting on one of the chairs, he gently rubbed his head with the towel as he hissed in pain

"Did I really dreamed that I'm hearing a voice?" He mutteringly asked as he looked at the table

"You didn't! It's me! Me! " The voice of the girl shouted making him jump as his hand traveled to his chest

"Why are you shouting, Coward, show yourself!"

"I can't you know"

Annoyed, Cato waved his hand in front of him as his eyebrows furrowed

"Show yourself! What? Do you think I'm afraid of you? Show yourself! Coward!" he shouted as he looked around

"I'm not a coward, you're the one who almost died of fear before. Anyways, I really can't show you, I don't know why, I thought people could still see you when you were a ghost. But based on my experience, no. Or maybe only those with a third eye can see me ?! Cato, do you have a third eye?" The ghost replied and asked as Cato looked in the air in disbelief

"How am I supposed to know that ?! Eh I haven't seen a ghost in my whole life, I don't even believe in a ghost. Then now I can only hear your voice." He replied as giggled filled the kitchen

"You may not have a third eye, but do you have a third ear ?!" with that, a laugh echoed as he rolled his eyes

"Corny," He muttered standing up

"Wa-wait hey! Where are you going?" The voice asked as Cato made his way to the stairs

"How can I be sure that you are a ghost, and you are not just a voice in my mind. They might later think I'm crazy." He said as he started going upstairs

"I am not the voice in your mind, I am not in your brain right now. I'm just by your side." with that, Cato looked to his side and made space as he shuddered

"I'm really a ghost, I just can't remember how I became one but one thing is for sure. I have lived before." The voice said as Cato enters his room, picking up the scattered papers on the floor.

"How come that you can't remember how you died? Did you die because of amnesia?" He said confusedly not just to her death but confused as to why he's still talking to her.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny, I thought you were smart? No one dies of amnesia" She, the voice, sarcastically replied as Cato frowned

"But what if, your head hit something hard, and then your skull was broken which was the cause of your death. So now, you have forgotten what really happened to you."

"Nice! You're also good at inventing stories. But you have a point though."

Cato sighed again as the papers began to fly again followed by the gush of wind

"Can you please don't move around, you're making the papers fly around.... I've been picking up a lot of paper since earlier," Cato said as he scratched his ear in annoyance

"I didn't move the papers, I just passed by them," She replied as Cato rolled his eyes

"Exactly, you're an air now, so technically, you're the one making them move around," Cato said as she rolled her eyes

"Wow, how would you say that? Do you have a scientific explanation there?"

He still can't believe he's talking to a ghost today.

"Ughhh. I must be crazy now" he muttered as he groaned
