The story is set in the coastal town in South India, with dense coconut grooves by the river which is located on the very shore of The tip of Indian Ocean, a centre point where the bay of Bengal and Arabian sea meet.

The beauty of the beach is it is lined up with rocks on its borders and there is Just a narrow sand strip that separates the salt ocean water and the fresh water from the river.

The beauty itself is a curse for that small coastal town.
