Target of Undying Fidelity, a skill that essentially allowed Night to switch places with Shade. It was something that he failed to calculate or predict, if he was being honest, a small part of him forgot about that skill. The enemy Night switched places with Shade and struck him to failure.
It was infuriating, he lost to himself, more than that, he failed to predict his own moves. No matter how experienced he was in martial arts, no matter how good he was at predicting and reading moves, the only person he couldn't predict was himself.
There was a sense of hatred building up inside him, he refused to acknowledge a version of himself that was so immersed in being evil. A version of himself that went against everything he stood for, and most of all, a version of himself that allowed Shade to fall so low.
