"I'll be right back," Night smiled and waved goodbye to Shade, he gently lifted Noctis and gave him over to his loyal guardian. He walked to the guard standing near the podium where the players can enter the trials.
"Hello, do I just need to place my hand to enter?" Night asked as he moved closer and inspected the podium. It seemed to be made up of some kind of oak wood, but the only unique contraption there was the rune slab that could read the hand that was placed onto it.
"Ah yes…." There was a hint of confusion in the guard's voice, he noticed that Night wasn't an archer but for some reason, he didn't bother pursuing the matter, perhaps he truly wasn't getting paid enough for that shit. "Right here, and then you can just walk into the portal,"
"Hmmm…what would happen if I just tried to enter without placing my hand here?"
