Walking through the doors of the airport, Oz looked around.
"Where even are we? I never bothered to ask where your master lives."
"Dude you're so stupid for a god." Amar shook his head. "We're in Germany."
"Woah!" Oz said in surprise, letting go of Asmodeus's shoulder. "I never knew you were German!"
"I'm not." Amar said curtly. "Let's go, we can't keep master waiting."
Amar's master was a short man, Oz physically looked down on him. He had white hair, thinning at the center, and a small beard. He had kind features. He wore sports shorts and an ACDC graphic tee shit, which surprised Oz, since he never expected Amar's master to be a hip old man.
The man smiled when he saw Amar approaching.
"It feels like it has been so long, has it not, Amar?"
He pulled Amar into a tight embrace. Amar pulled away with a light blush on his face. "You don't have to make a big deal about it. It's not like I've never been away from home."
"Can't a father miss his son every now and again?" The man chuckled. It was a warm laugh. Oz liked that laugh. It felt vaguely familiar, like a friend he used to have.
"So," the mans face became somber. "Did you bring Aysel?"
"Yes father." Amar said with a slight eyeroll.
"Great!" The man clapped his hands together. "Where is she?"
"You're staring right at her." Amar replied, pointing to Oz.
"Amar, I thought I raised you. Did you just happen to forget that Aysel is a girl? Why did you bring me two highschool boys.?"
Oz stepped up. "It makes me glad to hear that you thought I was a male. Hello!" Oz did a little wave. The man was confused.
"Sorry, maybe I should be more clear. I am Oz, the Aysel vessel. I was born a female, but am now a boy. I still house the celestial power of Aysel. I apologize for the confusion my appearance may have caused, Amar's master, sir."
The man's confusion turned into hearty laughter.
"Ah I see. It's alright my boy. And please, call me Alaric. Now, shall we head home? We have a girl to find and a world to save, no?"
