Ok. Said Sapph. Next two to go in should be Zuki and Sky, then Raven and Roxas ok? Yeah sounds good. They both went in Zorin's Room and saw him hooked up to a machine. They each sat at the end of Zorin. Hey man. Come on dude. If you don't wake up, I won't be able to get you out of trouble anymore. It's my job, remember? In highschool. Ever since you came to the magic school, we were like best friends. I kept you out of trouble. I always covered for you when the teacher thought you caused the problem. I always talked you out of getting into trouble, most of the time. When I couldn't, we both got in trouble. Which was worth it. Come on. I need to continue helping you. Wake up man! Please! I'm sorry Zuki. I just can't do this anymore. I need to stand outside and breathe some fresh air, before I lose it seeing him like this. You ok Sky? Yeah I will be. I will get someone else in here. I need to get some air. Feel better. Thanks Zuki. Sky went out to the waiting room and said, 1 Other person can go in. I'm going outside for a bit to get some air. Sky, I will go with you. Hey Sky. You ok? Said Raven. Yeah I will be. I just haven't seen Zorin this bad. Talking to him like this, feels like talking to a dead man. I just can't do it. Especially when its my buddy laying there. I hate not knowing if he is going to make it or not. Sky was freaking out. Raven said, Take a deep breath and relax. Sky did that and calmed down a little and said, Sorry Raven. It's fine. Your best friend is lying in a hospital bed. I don't expect you to act anything less. I almost never cry. Just promise me you won't tell Zorin or his brother or anyone for that matter ok? Yeah sure. The only 3 times I really cried were when my Mom died, I saw my wife on our wedding day in her beautiful dress, and seeing each of my babies born. Now this. So please. I need this a secret. Yes Sky. I will. OK. Are you alright now? Yeah I will be. Once your eyes aren't so puffy anymore, why don't you come in and join us ok? Yeah I will thanks. Yeah no problem.
After the others were done talking to Zorin, It was Ravens turn. She was the only one that hadn't seen Zorin yet, besides Sky. Raven said, I am going to see Zorin. Does one more person want to join me? There is one more seat. I will join you. Said Mr. J. Oh hi Mr. J. I thought you were the one watching him. I am, but I'm also an old teacher and a family friend. OK sure. Ok everyone. We will be back.
They went in Zorin's room, and Mr. J. checked his vitals to make sure everything was still doing what it should do. Nothing has changed. That's good. Raven, go ahead and sit with him. I have to check on his file for a second. Thanks Mr. J. Hey Zorin. Its Raven. Sorry me and Roxas have been busy. We are done with what we had to do now, so we will be spending time at the dojo more. I'm sure your brother will be too, so he can try to keep you out of trouble. He called to tell me he was giving you space. Now he sees you have had enough and he will be at the dojo more too. Even if he only has vision powers, he said he will fight with you and for you. James said he will have Chloe over more too. So come on man! Wake up! You know, if you ever want to come by and hang out, now that we are not busy, your room is still available. So please wake up!
Hey any change on him? Said Mr. J. No. Not even 1 movement. Well we should probably let him sleep for the night. Then we will have to call Zen to fix his arms. I know it's weird. For some reason we can't seem to get ahold of him right now. Hopefully we will be able too later today, since it's like 12:30 in the morning now. OK let's see. Mr. J. sat down next to Zorin as well. Hey man. Said Mr. J. My son is one heck of a kid huh? He got it from his Mother. He was so attached to her, it hit him hard when she died. He even ran away. I didn't see him for about a week. I even called the police to look for him, they couldn't find him. Then he walked in the door with puffy eyes. He was 10 years old when she died. You don't want your son or daughter to do that do you? So wake up Zorin. Come on. Zorin started twitching like they thought he was going to wake up, but it didn't happen.
OK I'm going to send everyone home. Sapph, Jason, and Mizuki will probably stay. Yeah good idea. I need to get some sleep. Roxas as well. OK well see you later today, since it's morning anyway. Yeah your right. Said Mr. J.
Raven came out and told them about the twitching but nothing happening. Ok. Mr. J. wants everyone to go home. He won't mind if Jason, Sapph and Zuki stay. Ok. Yeah. Said Sky. Just call me if he wakes up. Hey Sky, since I live closer to the hospital, Zorin's room is available. Would you want to come by and sleep over for the night? Just until we find out if Zorin is ok? Yeah sure. That way I won't have to travel far. Thanks. Yeah sure. OK come on Roxas let's go. So they left.
Ok guys. Why don't you stay here for a bit. I will have Sapph go in to see Zorin ok? Yeah sure. Said Jason. Good. Sapph went in to Zorin's Room and nothing had changed. She held his hand and fell asleep. The guys fell asleep in the waiting room. Mr. J. Checked on Zorin once in awhile.
That same morning it was around noon, when everyone was waking up at the hospital. Mr. J. decided to try calling Zen and finally got ahold of him. Hey Zen. Your nephew Zorin is in the hospital. We were trying to get ahold of you. You might want to bring another couple of metal arms while you're at it. Got it, on my way.
Zorin still hadn't budged. Mr. J. had just left. Sapph was about to leave when a strong grip held her arm. She turned around, Zorin had just barely opened his eyes. Oh my God! Zorin your finally awake! Thank God! She gave him a kiss on the cheek. I will be right back Zorin. I won't leave the room I promise. He let her go and she yelled, Mr. J.! Before he was out of sight. He turned around and headed back. She sat back down and held his hand. Zorin honey? Did you hear everything everyone said? He shook his head yes.
Just as Zen came to the Room, Mr. J. came in and took the mask off. Hey Zorin. Can you talk? How are you feeling? He tried to talk, but said, Water. In a dry throat talk. Sure. I will get you some. Sapph, you will need to help him drink the water ok? Yeah sure. She lifted his head a little, and slowly poured the water down his throat. Sanchez got the news too, and Bone came in too with his assistant. Ok Zorin. Can you talk now? Said Sapph. Yes a little better thanks. What happened? Why am I here? I think Mizuki can help you there. Be right back. Said Mr. J. While Mr. J. was getting Mizuki, Zen said, Hey Zorin. Heard you got into some trouble again. Yeah. I am a trouble maker after all. I got you another couple of arms. I always have spares knowing how much you need them. Sorry uncle. I know I'm hard on them. This last time, I don't remember much. We will know soon though. OK let's get these arms on you. Zorin's arms were still numb, so he didn't budge when Zen changed his arm.
Mizuki came in and said, Hey good to see you awake man! So you want to know what happened? First, we found the guy that fought you, and put him away. Then he said you went somewhere to blow off steam. We saw everything was on fire in the woods. It's ok, Zania sucked it up, but not before quite a bit of things got burned. We were searching all over for you, and found you passed out in the field. We tried to take you to the healer, and they couldn't do anything. Then Mr. J. and Sanchez noticed they couldn't either. That's how you ended up here. Oh man. Is that guy ok? He's not hurt is he? Even though he's an enemy, I don't want to hurt him. Oh he's fine. Bluefire still hasn't gotten the chains off of him. Oh crap. After I get out of here, I will have to have him do that. I don't think he meant for him to stay like that. I know Zorin. Just lay down and rest ok? Yeah. Said Zorin. I will try.
That explains how these arms got so bad. Even though your mark is controlled, you still need to control that temper of yours. Yeah I know. I just couldn't help it. I heard Mom and Dad again, when I was trying to control myself. That's what brought me back. They reminded me about our kids and all of you my friends and family. It still took me awhile to come back, but I did. Well that's good. Zorin. Said Mr. J. Looks like if you didn't come back when you did, you would be in trouble. If you had any more damage to your body according to the doctors here, you would probably have died. Yeah I figured as much.
Ok. Said Zen. Arms are done. How do they feel? Oh yeah. I forgot your still numb. When you are able to leave, come by my shop and I would like to see those arms of yours again OK? Also when you are better, I need help from you ok? Yeah sure. OK I better get back to work. Nice to see you getting better. Yeah uncle, nice to see you too.
Zuki called Roxas and Raven to tell him that Zorin was awake, to tell Sky as well. OK Roxas let's go. Sky went in his car. Sapph,when Zorin gets out in a few days, he needs to rest ok? Even if you have to trap him somewhere where he can't escape. We know a place. We just hope we don't have to use it. Either place. Ok good. Well Zorin, until then you will have to rest here. We are going to hook you up to more machines and track everything now that you are awake. We will track you when you sleep as well, now that you're not unconscious. OK Doc. Hey Dr. Bone. Your assistant looks familiar. Hey assistant, what's your name? Oh sorry. I know it's been a long time Zorin. It's me, Ryder. No way. Ryder? Is that really you? Long time no see. Yeah, its not a good way to meet, but yeah. Hey, when you get out, and I have some free time, want to try that trick we used to do as kids? With our fire and ice. Sure that will be cool. Right now you have to rest ok? Yeah I will try.
A few days later, it was time for Zorin to go home. Ok. Said Ryder. Dr. Bone and Sanchez said you can go home. Remember to take it easy ok? Yeah I will try. Sapph wheeled him to the car and helped him in.
OK we are home. Thanks James for watching the kids. You too Chloe. Oh hey Melody and Jayde. Did you have fun? Said Sapph. Yes we did. Oh good. I'm glad. Everyone was visiting, and must have almost forgotten Zorin was there. He almost collapsed but James saw and caught him in the nick of time. Hey Zorin. I got you. Thanks uncle. OK Zorin, let's get you to bed to rest.
Once uncle put him to bed, he joined the others. How long does he have to rest this time Sapph? Said James. The doc said a few days. He was worse than I have ever seen him. Even when he saved Zania and got cut up from all that metal. That bad huh? Yeah. Zen came by and as you saw gave him new metal arms. Yeah I noticed that too. Looks like a new metal. Yeah. You might want to go check on Zen. I know he doesn't look like it, but I am sure he is worried about Zorin. Maybe you can ask about Zorins arms. Yeah good idea. OK Chloe and kids. Come on. Let's go. We are going to uncle Zen's. Yay. Said Jayde. I like uncle Zen! He has cool things! Yeah he does huh? Ok let's go.
OK kids now that they are gone, why don't you go play outside for a bit. It's a nice day out. OK Mommy. Said Zuri. So she went outside and played in her playhouse. Slade played with his action figures .
Sapph went to check on Zorin, he was fast asleep. She came over to feel his head to make sure he didn't have a fever, he was fine. She sat there rubbing his head for awhile, then gave him a kiss on the forehead and left.
Ok let's see. I can get some kitchen work done, and cook some lunch. I know. I can cook some leftovers from dinner the other night. That would give me some free time. She waited until the kids came in to cook for them.
Zorin was still asleep. But she had to wake him anyway. Zorin honey. Sorry to wake you. You need to eat something. I'm not hungry at the moment Sapph. I'll eat at dinner maybe. OK but you need to get something in you, or you will waste away. I know Sapph. Thanks. Hey Sapph. How is everyone? Do they know I am home? Yes they do. Sky is still at Ravens house. He said on his way home he will come see you. Oh good. I want to talk to him about something. OK Zorin, I will be in to check on you soon. Thanks Sapph. You are a good woman, and wonderful wife who works too hard. You and I need to work on that. Yeah I know. Maybe that will be something to do when you get better. Yeah I guess so. He closed his eyes to rest.
It was time for Sky to head home. Ok Raven I am heading out. Said Sky. Thanks for letting me sleep over. Oh no problem. Anything for a friend of Zorin's. OK well I better get going. I'm going to head over to see Zorin for a bit then go home from there. OK we will probably be behind you. We are going to see him too. Ok well see you then.
