I was underground in a dark, damp, and cold dungeon. I awoke lying next to Liba's comatose body, and I felt chilled, weak, and scared. My skin was normal, my eyes didn't glow, and I felt no power at all.
Liba wasn't tall and didn't look as gentle and serene as before. Her golden silk hair was grey, matted, and stringy, and her eyes that shined forth from her sky-blue skin like glowing moons were closed tightly on her grey-white face that seemed elderly beyond her actual age.
Try, try, and try again, I wouldn't change and I could get nothing from Liba.
I was completely normal.
What's worse, Liba didn't communicate with me. No messages were coming through. Nor were there any messages from my grandpa either. Everything was as quiet as this cell we were in was desolate.
