"How did you get here guys?" I asked, lifting my brows when I saw Bomyu, Paikek and Seanyung beside me with the old lady Mrs Marleigh.
Bomyu was wearing a black denim jacket and black jeans, Paikek had his yellow hoodie on, and Seanyung was wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt and a blue coat. Besides, Paikek's scars seemed like they were healed.
"I brought them here to help you." Mrs Marleigh started.
"Okay but, Bomyu stole the book from us before. Don't you know that?" I asked them to clarify as the situation seemed confusing to me.
"Yes." Bomyu admitted in low voice.
I stared at him without blinking as his answer didn't satisfy me. Plus, he tried to kill me in when we were in the mansion.
"Bomyu was right from the beginning." Paikek supported Bomyu, putting his arm around him.
Then, Seanyung put in: "Yeah, Bomyu knew Yonsan's plan from the beginning. He thought we were intending to give the book to Yonsan to demolish all magic. That's why he wanted to hide the book from us."
"Yeah I thought you all were trying to help Yonsan." Bomyu clarified as he spoke in a low tone.
"I didn't even know a thing about Yonsan's evil plan." I took a glimpse at the burning flames around Yonsan, noticing that he was also looking at me.
Yonsan chuckled, listening to our conversation, as he ran a hand through his blue hair.
"What's wrong?" Bomyu asked quietly, making eye contact with Yonsan.
Yonsan laughed loudly as he started: "I fooled you all. Two years ago, I made sure that Bomyu knew all about the plan. So, the others thought that he was the one evil, while he was the only one right. In conclusion, it was so easy to break you four apart."
"You are a psychopath. I wish I knew that." I shouted at Yonsan.
"Right, we all know that now." Paikek lifted his eyebrows twice.
"Enough!" Yonsan yelled as he pointed the book onto us, creating a wave of green fire.
However, Mrs Marleigh drew a circle in the air by her hand, blocking the flames coming towards us.
"You old dotard!" Yonsan jeered and he raised the book, generating a dark portal in the air.
The twisting green flames enraged, growing taller as Yonsan levitated to the sky. He rose over the clouds, discharging green fireballs to the ground, onto us.
"Get down!" Seanyung warned, shouting out as fireballs started striking to the street we were on.
A massive bolt of fire fell onto Mrs Marleigh, knocking her to ground while she was trying to protect us. Seanyung and Bomyu rushed next to her, trying to pull her up but she was in pain.
"Karu, we need to go up." Paikek offered his hand to me.
"It's time to finish this." I nodded as I caught his hand.
Paikek closed his eyes, while his wings came out from his back, enlightening the darkness around. Each of his feathers was precious and shining like a diamond.
I held him tightly as he flew over the sky, towards Yonsan who was in green flames.
Yonsan began firing magical lightning onto Paikek and I. Paikek tilted his wings to left and right respectively, dodging the lightning attacks.
"The star book has the most powerful spells in it. We can't defeat it." Paikek warned while lightning bolts were arriving towards us.
By using the book, Yonsan created a dragon made of green flames, covering the sky. Thunder and lightning strikes surrounded the dragon across the dark clouds.
The flames drifted on Paikek and I, burning Paikek's angelic wings. A black liquid began falling from Paikek's wings as they burned down.
"What's happening?" I shouted while Paikek and I started falling down.
After we continued to fall for several meters, I noticed that Paikek's eyes were closed. He was dazzled by the fire strikes.
I couldn't see, inside the dark clouds as we were falling and falling. So I shut my eyes, feeling the cat ears coming out from my head.
It was strange to believe that I got powers other than a single magical wand. Those cat ears are not for hearing, they were actually for guessing my opponent's moves. This time, I could use them for determining Yonsan's location.
"Paikek wake up! Wake up!" I shouted continuously to make him open his eyes. It wasn't working, we kept falling but I kept shouting.
The ground became visible, where Mrs Marleigh, Bomyu and Seanyung was waiting for us.
Bomyu picked his magical wand up creating a water pool over the ground. Shortly, Paikek and I fell into it without taking any injury.
"Thanks, Bomyu." I shook my head as my hair was wet while taking Paikek out from the pool.
The dragon made of green flames grew kvwr
The dragon made of green flames arose in the sky absorbing the magic from the Magicaland while destroying the land.
"Does anyone have a plan?" I turned my face to my friends asking their ideas.
"Karu, you and your friends made the stars disappear. But you can fix this." Mrs Marleigh stood up, as she croaked in pain.
"What do you mean?" My eyebrows drew together.
"Remember it all started when you burnt down the forest. Each time you made a mistake a star died." Mrs Marleigh explained while the sky continued to burn.
"A star can help you to defeat Yonsan." She added.
"How? All of the stars disappeared." I asked hopelessly.
"Not all of them." Seanyung put in.
"What do you mean?" I turned my face to Seanyung, widening my eyes.
"Karu, remember..." He smiled as he continued;
"The sun is a star. A daytime star!"
"Exactly." Mrs Marleigh's wrinkles became more noticeable as her mouth curled up.
I gazed upon the dark sky covered with lightning, thunder and green fire. The storm was absorbing all the magic and giving it to Yonsan who was somewhere above the clouds.
"Let's do this." I squeezed my fist and raised it to the sky.
"Right, I'm in." Paikek smiled when he woke up from dizziness.
Paikek picked up a yellow chalk from his backpack and started drawing a star symbol onto the road. Bomyu created a pond of water inside the star symbol. And Seanyung took off his necklace putting it inside the water.
I jumped into the water, creating a magical hurricane lifting up the water droplets. The power of friendship gathered together while my friends held their wands towards me.
Blue energy covered my body rising me up to the dark sky. I passed through the clouds, scattering the flames and darkness. I continued to rise over the clouds until I got above them.
"What are you doing?" Yonsan asked when he got in from of me.
But, I ignored him, rising towards him.
He opened his arms and he unleashed a wind of fire onto me. I passed throughout the flames, striking onto Yonsan.
I touched the book while it was in Yonsan's hands, creating light energy. It caused the darkness to fade, making the sun, the daylight star, visible.
As the sun rose over the sky, the dark clouds disappeared with the dragon made from flames.
"No! You can't stop me." Yonsan's face started to get burnt by the sunlight.
"You might not notice but I already stopped you." I punched him in the face, causing him to drop the book.
When the star book slipped away from Yonsan's hands, he began falling too.
As I flew over the blue sky, I watched the Magicaland regaining its magical energy. Leaves of the trees grew green and the broken houses got repaired by the magic of the daytime star.
"You did it, Karu! You saved the magic!" Paikek cheered as I got back to the ground.
"Yeah, I couldn't have done it without you. We saved it all together!" I unintentionally smiled feeling proud of my friends.
"This feels so different." Tears fell from Bomyu's eyes in happiness.
"We are a great team and we are great friends." Seanyung smiled as he hugged Bomyu with Paikek.
"I love you guys." My eyes flooded as I joined the group hug, feeling the strength of our indestructible friendship.
"Four boys met again, and now they did know why; they were the boys of a daytime star. Once, they break apart, they would know how to find the light. Isn't it beautiful, how they will be forever together, just like the name of the group chat that I created. At the end of this eternity, the stars returned back and the magic of the land is restored. Thanks to our nice, smart, brave, strong boys. I will always remember you Paikek, Seanyung, Bomyu and Karu." said Mrs Marleigh as she walked toward a black car parked on the side of the road.
"Come on, Lydia. We are late for the resurrection." A long-haired man wearing a long coat opened the back door of a black car.
"Don't worry Aku Yang, we won't be late."
