After a few hours, I slowly opened my eyes, finding myself in my blue and yellow bedsheets in our apartment. Seanyung, Paikek and Bomyu were standing around my bed looking happy that I woke up. I checked my watch, and it was already 1:00 am.
I gazed outside the window, noticing that there were only two stars left in the sky, not three. Which meant; another star disappeared again.
"Hey Karu! Tootmuyu wants to say hi to you." Paikek looked in my eyes and smiled broadly, as he showed me his dolphin toy.
"It has a name?" I giggled calmly. Even though I was having an extreme headache, and feeling tired, Paikek managed to make me smile, like he always did in my hardest times.
"Karu! Tootmuyu is cute, of course he has a name. Besides, he never leaves me alone like you do." He guffawed.
"Oh so! You think I would be jealous of a toy?" I bantered friendly.
"Yes. Because Tootmuyu is cuter than you." Paikek effused while he hugged his dolphin toy tightly.
"Do you wanna play the Promise game?" Bomyu put in.
"Yes! I love magical games!" Paikek effused.
"I'm tired I think we should play tomorrow." I murmured.
"Karu, please please please!" Paikek cajoled.
"I am not good at this game by the way." Seanyung interrupted.
"You're good at every game!" Paikek's eyes narrowed when he smiled.
"Fine I'll play. What about you Karu?" Seanyung sighed while he turned his face to me.
"Okay okay let's play." I agreed on playing because I needed some fun in my life, especially after what happened at the Komorebi cafe.
"The Promise game is simple. You make a promise and keep it until the next full moon." Paikek began explaining the rules of the game.
While Paikek was speaking, the snow globe next to Bomyu's bed started to glow up. It was the globe he bought from the souvenir shop.
"Guys look! Why is it shining?" I pointed my finger to the glowing snow globe on the table.
"I don't know. It never happened before." Bomyu's eyes widened and he grabbed his snow globe. He instantly shook it to make the snowflakes move in it.
However, the snowglobe started to show an illustration of the green book with the star symbol on it.
"I remember that book!" Seanyung took the globe from Bomyu's hands, and attentively looked at it.
"I remember! I remember! It is Yonsan's book. Remember the time he used it to defeat the Karuma Panda." Paikek recited.
"Where is it now?" Seanyung put his hand on his chin, and he looked so thoughtful. I knew that he saw Yonsan dead in the blue flowers when we had the visions.
"The globe says we need to find him." Bomyu shook his head as he made eye contact with me.
"How can we find the book?" I got puzzled.
"Why don't we find Yonsan first?" Paikek suggested and each one of us stayed silent for a few seconds.
The silence in the room brought me in tears, so I spoke: "It is our fault that we left Yonsan in that door with that monster."
"Don't worry. I'm pretty sure that Yonsan has the book with him so he is safe." Seanyung put his hand on my shoulder.
"We should go there!" I wiped off my tears and stood up.
Paikek, Seanyung and Bomyu looked at me with their eyes widened. They looked surprised that I have the courage to say that.
Then I added; "Come on, what are we waiting for? He needs us. What we were doing for two years?"
All of them seemed thoughtful as they kept looking at me. I waited if any of them wanted to talk.
"I agree! We should save him now." Seanyung stood up.
"Count me in." Paikek smiled.
"Alright. Let's go." Bomyu put the snow globe into his bag and he wore his jacket.
All four of us were ready, we opened the door and walked outside, to a new adventure.
