"There's still two hours left, so you're ready to accept my guidance even for a bit?"
"I'm very busy for the next four months. I can't reply to even read messages from you, so just now," said Giral telling Tyo that he couldn't always reply to messages from the man.
"Sorry, Bro. Did I interrupt your time the last few days?" Tyo asked because he had also been texting his older brother too many times in the last few days.
"Once a day is actually not often, but you always text me every time I'm going to sleep, it's annoying," answered Giral honestly even though the man doesn't often hold the cellphone but the notification always appears several times he will start falling asleep.
"But I sent a message at two in the morning," Tyo replied, a little clueless if he disturbed his older sister's sleep. "Two o'clock in the morning or two in the afternoon it still bothers me. Try once every two weeks" Giral replied, making Tyo a little surprised.
"I'm sorry, Daddy." Giral chuckled seeing how uncomfortable Tyo was with what Giral said. The man was physically uncomfortable with his order, but being gently rebuked made Tyo feel very guilty. "I'm just joking," said Giral, laughing a little at how cute his younger sister's face was when she managed to scare Giral.
"Where to start?" asked Giral as he brought some books and references that he had read several times. "I bought fifteen reference books, and I also borrowed almost three library books."
"So in your opinion, how much do you need for your thesis reference later? I'm just asking for your description," said Giral asking the supervisor to help you? Tyo asked Giral again, the man chuckled and gave almost three little fingers to his middle finger.
"My daddy, my mommy, and my older brother. Still the same. I won't mess with grades, and Raenal always asks me to ask her something. So you won't get my great man, Tyo. You can't get my greatest mentor, you don't want to ask your daddy, mommy, and older brother for help, do you?" asked Giral without saying anything more painful pepper Tyo made the man even more dissatisfied with his.
"Bro, are you close to your daddy, mommy, and older brother? Ehy is that possible," asked Tyo, a little clueless as to how the boys in the family could be so close, even on education issues, and help take care of the thesis as a mentor as well.
"Sure, they've been a part of my life since I wasn't born. Time to support each other, come on Tyo. You just need to lower your ego," Giral suggested because Tyo was only bothering him too much if he didn't get answers to all his questions.
Indeed, every two o'clock in the morning, but did you know that the message Tyo sent to Giral was only one?
Maybe almost twenty-nine every day and always at two o'clock in the morning.
Anyone would be angry, to be honest, Giral also wanted to block access where Tyo could send him messages, but Tyo shouldn't have blocked Giral. Because he could send messages outside of his own needs, sometimes Giral hesitated too.
"Nro, I just want one more question," Tyo said asking for an answer that wasn't too cruel to answer but Tyo needed it. "What?"
"Apart from family support, what about lots of references, asking for revisions from the supervisor at any time, then fixing it yourself can you finish the thesis quickly?" Tyo asked again on an earlier topic which this time made Giral a little hot while reading.
"Now let me ask," said Giral back. "If you're working on a thesis for chapter one, and your junior-level calls you all the time just asking for help and nonsense questions every day, will you stay patient?"
"I'm not saying it's me, but I'm saying firmly that if you keep talking to your supervisor who makes you uncomfortable and irritated, what do you think?"
"You're smart, don't try to be stupid just because you need something Tyo, I know you are." Giral rolled her eyes lazily, Giral gave almost three pieces of paper that only contained the title of a reference book on how people can finish their thesis quickly without talking too much and asking for help.
"Your thesis yesterday I gave you one sheet, and I just want to give you more because I don't want you to bother me try please don't bother me, I've started busy taking care of my thesis, and I'm also starting to busy taking care of my father's wedding. So don't call me asking about thesis or I will permanently block all your social media."
"I'm not lying," said Giral giving a little criticism of Tyo's pepper because the man would always approach him only when he needed something. Hey, college is a competition, there's nothing to explain how complicated life is.
To be honest, life is also full of competition, no matter how hot the competition is, Giral only thinks that results are important, and everything he gets needs to be worked on.
"Isn't there a lot of wives, Bro?" I was really surprised when there were about one hundred and twenty-five books that Giral recommended, and some of the reference books that Tyo had just seen today.
"I got a hundred and fifteen pages of reference books from my daddy and older brother, and I didn't ask him at all as you asked me," Giral replied more scathingly which made Tyo slap with what he just said. "Thank you very much, Bro." Giral nodded her head slowly, she looked at Tyo seriously.
"That even a piece of paper that gets wet will lose its writing, so take care before you regret it. I won't help you a second time, you understand?" asked Giral back when Tyo heard what happened made him a little burdened.
"I'll take good care of it, Bro." Giral nodded his head slowly, he showed one sentence and some important parts that Tyo had to learn from him.
"You have to understand from here, then you read it over and over again, think realistically, don't just choose words, titles, and also the discussion. You have to think more seriously about every word, sentence, and one paragraph that you discuss. Try not what you use often, make it new. Try not to bring references to other people's thesis, make it in such a way. You only need to remember your mistakes when you got the first revision from my supervisor when you were fighting for your thesis in your undergraduate degree and you remember what you've done, think carefully about what your mistakes were, and don't repeat it."
Tyo swallowed his saliva, this time it might be more difficult. Not to challenge himself, more whether he can do it in the future. Challenging doesn't mean suicidal, so it's better to keep doing what he thinks is right and good too. The sharp eyes that Tyo had seen on Giral made men older than Tyo do more than that.
"Put down what you're doing," Giral scolded, making Tyo lower his gaze and choose to lower his head slowly. Giral knows very well that Tyo is a very dominant man, he is stubborn and selfish. What he thought was very firm and wise made Giral a little hot.
"So what else do you want from me?" asked Giral glancing at the watch in his right hand when he saw how popular class time was that Giral could only finish one heavy meal with two glasses of black iced coffee.
"You're so cool Bro. I haven't seen your older brother who you always call by the name Bro Raenal, but seeing your good and very smart side, it makes me a little can't think how you talk to your older brother, your mommy, and your daddy. They're like very smart," said Tyo looking very presumptuous to say this when actually what happened was something that needed to be fixed.
"That's a personal thing, you shouldn't know about this either," replied Giral, taking his iced coffee again and tidying up some of the books he had taught Tyo.
"Let's go home, I have class in twenty minutes, so I think we have to get to campus before I get a minus because of you," said Giral walking out of the cafe making Tyo take the initiative to pay for their food and drinks.
:No need to pay, this caffe belongs to my little sister. In my family, wherever we go, and with whomever, we deduct money it is not recommended for one or part of the family members to pay for it."
"We've never paid for food in any of our businesses, so don't spoil everything with your high self-esteem," Giral's correction made Tyo get at least one thing he needed to clarify again this time.
Both of them started to get into Giral's car, although Tyo got in at eight at night, Giral had to get in at seven at night. As a thank you, Tyo can only do what Giral gives him even though it seems too much more than just helping.
"Speaking of your younger sister, don't you only have one younger sister? Isn't it the one earlier?" Tyo asked a little overthinking something that made Giral shrug his shoulders lazily.
"Yes, we are only three brothers." Giral answered as needed, he could see how curious Tyo was towards his little sister.
Such a hypocrite indeed, but Arra can manage at least six simple cafes that she has started since she was twelve years old. It was like a demand, but this demand and coercion managed to bring the three brothers closer together.
"But, why is it so strange. I didn't mean it like that, Bro. Arra looks very innocent, she doesn't know anything. But how did she manage the caffe earlier when she was in high school?" Giral chuckled hearing a question that seemed very logical with what happened. "Yes, he is now almost seventeen years old. So, the caffe is indeed his," replied Giral, jokingly, although not serious.
"Bro, I mean--" Giral cut Tyo's words this time. "I know."
"You can't judge a person by the way he talks, how he lives his life, and judge him badly just because he looks so spoiled, innocent, and stupid. You just don't know the other side of that person yet, you don't get to see how he matures, works, and takes full responsibility for what he does."
"You don't know anything about my little sister, Tyo."
