"Impetum!"
In year 10,000 B.C.
A never-ending cry of pain was written in the history of mankind.
When a war between GODS takes place. A swell series of battles were fought in Thessaly, consisting of most of the Titans (an older generation of gods) fighting against the Olympians (the younger generations) who would come to reign on the Heavenly Realm. The war was waged to determine who would rule the Gods and Humans.
When the war erupts, mankind found itself caught in the midriff. The gods used the man as their shield, brandishing them as a sword without hesitation. The protracted war between the two sides has cost too many lives. Humans. Creatures. They destroyed the land of the human race. Without taking into account humanity or its existence. They use their powers without inhibition. They were indestructible.
That's what they thought.
Men, by contrast, have an unlimited evolution, creating weapons that can kill the gods. Enduring the caprices of the GODS, for so long, man sought liberty for the first time. Fighting for their liberty. They started to resist the GOD's will and by just using their courage and determination, and the burning flakes of fire within. The human race is fighting for its creed. For their desecration and their worth. Evolutionary armament — man-made — has defeated several thousand Titans and Olympians. The Land of Man celebrates its victory against the Gods for the first time. Men could not believe that they will win against the Gods. But the moments of triumph did not take too long.
As Elohim, the God of the Gods started to be wary of Mankind's evolution and began to fear the intellect of the human race when they repel them. It angers him, that a mere arm made by man can easily defeat a God and the warrior of the Celestial Kingdom. And so Elohim sent the Celestial Knights, his high-ranking knights to the Land of Man to overcome the battle between gods and humans.
"Occidere eos!"
Lucida is amongst them, the strongest knight of the Celestial Kingdom, and the most beautiful creature that Elohim created. He is proud and the most beloved chevalier of Elohim. He was envied by the other knights and was hated for that reason.
The wisdom and power of Lucida – all the good things created in him by Elohim – led him to be proud. His pride led to his rebellion and downfall, but he never lost (and thus always retains) any of his powers and traits. He carries out a cosmic rebellion against his Creator to see who will be God. His strategy was to enlist mankind to join him – by luring them to succumb to the same choice that he made – to love themselves, become autonomous from God, and defy him. He even put forth his version of the Heavenly Knights; The Seven Deadly Sins, also called seven cardinal sins, in the theology of mankind it is based upon the seven vices that awaken other sins and other immoral traits.
And mankind started to fear HIM and called him The Devil; King Of Darkness.
Lucida almost grasped victory over his palm, as he pushed back the Knights of the Celestial Kingdom and was on the verge of conquering the Land of Man. Unexpectedly, the long war between Heavenly realm and Land Of Man ended and they built an alliance to create a covenant to kill Lucida.
To defeat Lucida, Elohim summoned the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They are described as "the ones whom Elohim has sent to the Land of Man" causing it to rest quietly before the war.
The first horsemen is riding a white horse, carrying a bow, a figure of conquest, possibly invoking the plague.
The second carries a sword and mount a red horse and is the creator of War.
The third is a food merchant straddling a black horse, symbolizing starvation.
The fourth and last horse is pale green, and upon him ascends Death.
They were given authority over a fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with the famine, and with the plague, and with the beasts of the land.
They fought with Lucida and his army in a bloodstained battle that lasted for three days.
Lucida was vanquished by the Four Horsemen.
Elohim looked upon Lucida deceptively. He thought; he did not make an 'evil creature', but created a powerful and intelligent being who through his pride has led a revolt against the helm, his creator.
"You were in Heavenly Realm, the Kingdom of God... . I ordained and anointed you as the mighty courageous guardian. You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You have been above reproach in everything you have done since the day of your creation until the day evil was found in you... and you sinned. So I banished you in disgrace from the Celestial Kingdom.
I have driven thee, O courageous guardian, out of thy place among the stones of fire. Your heart was filled with pride for your covetousness. Your wisdom has been tainted by your love of splendour. So I threw you to the ground."
Elohim ripped Lucida's soul from his body and locked it up thousands of miles away underneath the ground, where he can never come back again.
Lucida used every ounce of strength he had and cried out his unwavering hatred and anger. "I vow, thou who cast the chain, shall know suffering! I will rise again, and put an end to mankind and the Heavenly Realm! " And he was swallowed by the darkness.
After the victory against Lucida and his forces, the Gods returned to the Heavenly Realm with the promise that they would never again disturb mankind, and thus Man vowed that they would never again intervene in the war of the Gods.
He who revokes the vows will be punished by the newly established law.
And so the war comes to an end.
