A glimmering rapier connected to a chain violently pieced through a foe and pulled him down from the flying creature he was riding.
Baron slammed the enemy to the ground, shattering him into different parts. Massive spikes hurled down his way, but he reacted quickly and was barely able to deflect a few.
"There will be more on the move!" said Baron at the top of his voice.
Chased by a Mutant Fowl, Claudex, Baron, and Cassius are desperately running for their lives. No matter how much effort they put into their escape plan, they just could not outrun a flying creature.
Cassius got immobilized by a spike that had penetrated through his leg…
"AAAUUURRRGGHH!!"
He wailed in pain but was left behind since there is nothing the others could do to help him, not if they still wanted to make it out alive.
"Shit! They are going all out!"
More enormous flying creature was deployed, all of which, are coming after them, and are rapidly cutting the distance in no time.
"A plan… Do you have a plan?"
"We find a hiding place first," said Baron.
Using the tree-laden area did not help as much as they would have wanted. With several flying Mutant Fowl on the loose, every tree that could keep them hidden was brought down to the ground. Thus, retreating is a bit of a drag (that's an understatement).
A squeaking cry resounded from a great distance. This effectively attracted the attention of every creature, and abruptly, they abandoned their chase and flew in the opposite direction.
"That direction… that's where Diesel is located," said Claudex.
"We should get moving… Whatever those guys have gotten themselves into, we will use that to make a run for it."
Being immobilized brought Cassius' escape attempts a complete failure. A Mutant Fowl has grabbed onto him and is gradually fading into the sky.
"There is nothing we could have done to help him," Baron said. He felt immense guilt for what he had done. Living Cassius behind was never part of the plan...
Unexpectedly, two flying creatures flew down from the sky, obstructing their way.
They were not as huge as the mutant fowls, but their presence is still very terrifying. If you haven't figured it out yet, these creatures are the Skycruel, and they don't look joyous in the least.
Baron and Claudex trembled but kept their ground. They are willing to fight their way through them if necessary.
"Do not make this any harder," one of them spoke up as their large wings slowly transformed into the arm of a human.
This discovery is indeed, bewildering. They had no idea the Skycruel could do that.
"I'll rather die than be captured by your kind," said Baron.
"If it is death you want, death is what you will get,"
Two more of their kind appeared behind them. Baron and Claudex are greatly outnumbered.
"Which will you prefer?" they asked, fully ready to wipe them off depending on what they choose.
Realizing how futile their escape is, they both surrendered by kneeling with their hands on their neck.
...all three of them had been captured.
.
.
.
Hidden under a cave, Allyn and Diesel had spent hours already. More flying creatures are in the area, so going out is not safe.
They also need all the rest they can get, and there is no better place to do that other than their current location.

Live Up To Your Name As An Assassin!
Bounty hunting is a great start and comes with great profits. You can view the list of miscreants along with interesting rewards that come from every catch.
Go on! Give it a try!
_______________________________
'Dead or Alive', is a common written word placed on every list of bounties. The prizes are indeed as tempting as they say, but equally as difficult.
Among the list, Allyn unexpectedly found two familiar bounties, one of which is disguised in a Mage suit. A suit that he recognizes all too well.
"You've got to be kidding me," he mumbled.
The Skycruels are bent on getting their hands on him, they went as far as setting a bounty on both himself and Diesel.
From here on out, things will only get difficult even further. The bounties placed on Allyn and Diesel's are over 60,000 conty-coins. That's a pretty large amount and could attract several bounty hunters his way.
"Should I inform him," Allyn took a small peek at Diesel who is currently taking a nap?
"It's not my problem if he gets caught anyway," said Allyn.
Full Moon>>>
"Now is the time, let's get moving,"
"Is it time to move out?"
"Yes, the Skycruel will have a difficult time detecting our presence during the night... this should be the same for whatever that Giant creature is,"
Allyn and Diesel carefully exited the cave and ran in the opposite direction...
"We have to make it out of the Skycruel's territory before sunset, or we are truly in deep sh*t!"
"What about the Armor_Crock, or Vampire Bat... those are problematic encounters,"
"Christ! I forgot about those... we can't stop now! I will come up with a plan while we are on our way," said Allyn.

.
"Be on the lookout, they will pass through here in no time!"
"Understood,"
A group of young soldiers had been deployed in the field. Their goal is to apprehend the remaining wanted intruders.
To make it easier, they all had firearms in their possession along with lights to help them navigate their way.
*rattle!*
A vague sound resounded, which effectively got their attention...
"Did you see anything?"
"No, nothing out of the ordinary!"
"Alright, spread out every one of you. We can't let these guys escape," said the leader.
Following his instructions, the group widened their area of hunt.

HUSH FEET activated!
Active time limits: 3 minutes.

"Urggh!*
"What's goin_"
"Urgh!"
Two enemies have been taken down by an unidentified foe.
"What the hell!"
The guns in the possession of these unfortunate victims were missing...
"They are here! Be careful!"
Slightly under panic, the alertness of the others was elevated. It seems their unknown enemy should not be underestimated.
*Slash!!*
*Fffffttt!!*
A silver object slit the neck of a soldier and immediately disappeared into the shadow.
"Damn it! show yourself!!"
In a randomized manner, bullets were dispersed at every corner, but there is no guarantee that any of them hit the enemy.
Anonymous and the Hush Feet abilities had reached their time limits with 5 minutes of cool down to go. He could only kill three individuals using these techniques, but there are more opponents all around him.
Without using the Strengthening technique, Allyn figured he could still kill every one of them, and this is because his spirit damage is fatal with over 200 points. He is a mage compare to them, and that's a great advantage on his part.
"There he is,"
Guarding himself, Allyn viciously ran in their direction. Their gun did little damage to him. He got close enough and killed two more...
"Shit! step back, I'll take him down,"
The leader stood out with a large firearm in his possession, very similar to a machine gun. This one will do significant damage compared to the rest... except he didn't get the chance to pull the trigger before getting shot on the head.
"Where did that come from?"
Diesel had an easier time hiding himself thanks to all the attention going to Allyn alone. But after what he had done, he will probably have a hard time doing that now
"Call for backup!! both of them are here!" one of them shouted.
"Shoot down anything that is moving!"
The number of foes is multiplying, all of them are stationed in one area, closely in search of the intruders. Even worse, some of them had night goggles in their possession with much more impressive weapons.
What this group of young soldiers hasn't figured out yet is the fact that they just fell for Allyn's plan. Yes, pulling the search party to a single area was the strategy, and it worked perfectly.
Now, this is perfect chance and both of them ran at full speed outside the Cruel's territory... or at least, they tried to.
{"Target detected!!"} said a robot which was followed by violent gunshots.
Humans weren't the only enemies they had. It turns out that there are several robots on the loose, all of which had been programmed to take them down at all cause.
"Robot! We have robots coming after us now?!"
Bullets were raining their way without relent and attracted the young soldier's attention as was expected.
Killing spree began as some of the soldiers were shot also due to the robot's inability to think like a human. They would shot whenever their sense tell them the enemy is close by, most of which ended badly.
"Stay away from those nasty robots if you still value your lives," they exclaimed while these machines were still blasting bullets in a single direction.
{"Target lost... Must kill targets"} spoke the robots.
Activating night vision, the robot's search for Allyn and Diesel began. They had face recognition that will help them decern their scapegoat.
