Chapter 1 - Chapter-1

"Long time ago, There was a time when strength rule the earth and evil held the world in its vile clutches."

"The age of Zetegenia "

As a new day dawn, as roots dig deep into the earth and water flow from its source.....

Many years ago the Lodis Empire began its imposition of Lodism. Troops from Galius advanced into the regions that resisted. It was more of an invasion than a reformation, many conflicts erupted as these two territories were conquered.

But some countries submitted and accepted Lodis conditions, Although supervised by Lodis they were able to maintain autonomy. The Empire also pledge support if problems were to arise.

Some rulers chose to surrender to avoid pointless sacrifice. It was no surprise that they made that decision.... although that did not stop from small conflicts from occurring. However, compared to the rest of the era, it was a time of peace.

Alphonse Loehar, a dark-haired knight, who was newly recruited as a knight of Felix decided to embark on a quest with his commander Rictor Lasanti.

The busy market on the dock where fishes were sold in half the price as they were getting bad, little girls buying flowers to bury their pets, people bustling everywhere.

Rictor: " well then, did your mother make a fuss about you?"

Alphonse: " I don't have time for that Rictor, I'm more concerned with my new family name Loehar, It just doesn't sound right, it hadn't changed at all."

Rictor: "Com'on don't be so cold, once our ship departs, you won't be able to see her for a while."

They both walked up the stairs leading to a more busy stalls of vegetables and meat.

Alphonse: "we're finally leaving.....it will be my first time aboard."

Rictor Turned towards Alphonse and said

" It sounds like you think this will be a vacation! I'm not sure, you realise what we're getting ourselves to." he began picking some dried dragon fruits and starting eating it..

"That'll cost a goth for each bite" the vendor said picking more of the dried dragon fruit and handing it over to Rictor.

Rictor: " one goth for each bite!? That's too expensive."

The vendor smirk " well, things are getting out of hand after you Lodis knight stole everything from us."

Rictor Laughed " Woah!... Hold on mister not everyone....." before he could finish, Alphonse interrupted.

Alphonse: " Excuse me, Commander Lasanti."

Rictor shrugged and raised both his hand as a gesture.

Rictor: " Was that suppose to be scarcastic? This may be my first time commanding....but Iam expecting a lot from you."

Alphonse walked towards Rictor

" Count on me, Sir"

Not far away sat a fortune teller, Her hands were all wrinkled and on the table was a crystal ball.

"Hello" she said " Would you like your fortune told?"

Rictor Turned towards the woman " we don't have time for that, we set sail early tomorrow."

Alphonse walked toward the fortune teller but Rictor stopped him.

Rictor: " What's wrong with you today? why the sudden interest in fortune telling."

Alphonse looked and Rictor then towards the fortune teller. "ummm...."

Rictor:" Sigh..... Well do as you like, I'm heading back you better return soon, too."

Alphonse Nods his head" Yes, I know"

and he heads towards the fortune teller" Madam, I'd like my fortune to be told."

The Fortune teller smiled beneath her purple veil and she rubbed her hands on the crystal ball.

" Everyone seeks hints about their future, even if those hints influence their path, Young man what is your name and when were you born."

Alphonse took a deep breath and said " My name is Alphonse and I was born during Preta 4"

The fortune teller chanted some words unclear for Alphonse to understand. " Six path determine your path in life, whispering in the recesses of your mind, they take form and scream out!"

The crystal ball started to shine brightly binding the market with light and it felt as if only Alphonse himself and the fortune teller were present.

She raised her head, and judging by her eyes Alphonse could tell she could see no more yet it seemed like her eyes knew everything about the world or Alphonse himself. The fortune teller rested her hands on the table and whispered " Let us begin."
