Chapter 61: Michu's goodwill brings miracles!

"Is such a mechanic even possible?" Sandra asked while utilizing her water skills. The Tactician Subclass had been useful here and her water skills could even slow down the Ice Yeti whose level and stats were high in abundance.

The goal was to feed the Ice Yeti and the possibility of one of them popping out from the side was high, so Venomous and Sandra were close at the backline.

"I tested it a few times during the subclass quest," Venomous replied, "We shouldn't question this game's realism nor its game system. Things we least expect to happen, happen and a lot of players are often held back by the MMORPG game's rules."

How many times did players post a complaint to the company because the NPCs refused to give quests and focused on other players instead? How many times did their quests fail because realism played tricks on them?

All their hard work vanished in a second and that was because the world moved by its own rules, not the 'game rules'.

Venomous said, "As long as the Ice Yeti's body doesn't digest this potion, we should be able to trick others into drinking it."

"What if the potion... leaves its body?" Sandra questioned with slightly reddened cheeks.

"Either we lose it or we will somehow retrieve it," Venomous replied stoically, then looked at the monke's fly!

Michu had been using silver crystals only if necessary. Although the Impossible Quest hadn't forced him to use these too much, Michu had a fair share of experience with flying and the wind's torrents that came out of the crystal.

He flew like a bird, then bonked the monster's head.

The Ice Yeti's jaw opened widely, the world-shaking howl escaping its mouth. Seizing the chance, KongFu threw the potion into its mouth. Both Monkey God and his inheritor could see it disappearing within the darkness.

With content on his smile, "Yakuzan! Run away!" He told his friend to run away, then threw another silver crystal! The wind pushed him away from the confused yeti and all monkeys successfully escaped its eyes.

From afar, KongFu laughed, "Look at its confusion... This one knows about other players."

"Really? Can you tell?" Michu inquired.

"It's his behavior. I think that he has seen other players and probably even defeated them, so he is confused why would you suddenly run away from him." KongFu's deduction wasn't far off from the truth.

The Ice Yeti had seen enough humans and even ate their bodies! His confusion was because Michu actually ran away while others persistently fought all Ice Yetis here. Even if they were on low with stuff, they held on in this Impossible Quest as one death meant the end.

"It's time to feed more yetis with the potion! Then, I will guide them straight to other players! KongFu, it seems like your eyesight is better in this snowstorm! Look out for players while we regenerate!" Michu requested, then looked over at Yakuzan, "Our potions are less effective on you, Yakuzan..."

"Uhu." Yakuzan didn't mind having less HP! This was something that Michu couldn't accept, though. He decided to use time as their ally. He and Yakuzan spent some time beneath the snow to regenerate their HP naturally.

His goodwill towards the friend from another race brought wonders and miracles, though.

The Cold Time separated them from the rest of the world... Thus, what was one minute for Yumi and Sandra, was vastly different for Michu and Yakuzan!

"Don't use too many potions, Michu. We need it for the Ice Tomb," Venomous inferred and passed the message!

"I know!" Michu replied with a smile, then began his official mission!

Thus, The Cold Time's Mystery was still unveiled.

-

"I will fucking kill that bastard! That flying fucker!" The players who had been here for more than five months got surrounded by Ice Yetis. They were utterly encircled with no gaps seen by the naked eye.

The snow also disturbed them, but more than anything, the monkey team was what weighed on their minds, "That cunt had a small monkey on his shoulder and a big one that was probably a tank. The latter was slower, so we must catch his pet and make him pay for this!"

Their party was balanced with six mages as their center. Half of them were ice mages while the rest were fire mages. There were two tanks and one healer.

The tanks were equipped in ice armor with comfy clothes warming them from the inside. Their equipment was also meticulously prepared for this quest. The shields were made out of flame material with flame insignia embedded in the middle. Their swords were red and relied on the aforementioned insignia to inflame.

This party was Michu's victim! He brought a lot of Ice Yetis to them by flying across the snowstorm! He had Yakuzan with himself in case any yeti would pin him down to the ground!

So far, Michu's mission was successful and a lot of players have already dropped Venomous' potions.

This one caught Michu's attention, though.

From afar, he had been looking at their battle, "Magic is so awesome! I wonder when I will be able to summon the clouds?" His eyes looked at the magic circle conjured by the fire mages.

They whispered something in unison, then the circle widened to embrace all Ice Yetis around them. The flames sparked on the Ice Yeti's bodies, then completely engulfed them.

The Ice Yetis' howled, however. Their movement didn't slow down, but the tanks' swords hacked on them more decisively. The flame swords had some additional burning effect that bridged their HP to match theirs!

"Clouds? For you, I think it would take some time. I think level 80 or maybe 100..." KongFu shrugged while digging into his ear, "Let's head back. The Ice Mages will soon use their skill and make chain explosions. It will take some time and work for them to kill all those yetis, but they should survive through it."

"Yeah!" Michu marked the location on the minimap, then passed it to Venomous. She would do some calculations later on and then find out whether the players got poisoned or not! That was for another time.
