Sebastian had received a message through the communication book that Ellen was out of the palace, and they were on their way back to the camp. Although Sebastian knew it would take them a few hours to get to the base, he still waited for his Sunshine outside the camp.
His gaze remained on the road; he looked up every time his ears picked up the sound of a horse. He had waited so many months to reunite with her, and sometimes he felt as though he was losing his mind, but these few hours were like torture to him.
He could not wait to have her in his arms again, those few months may have been long, but these few hours made him feel pressured. He regretted his actions of returning to the camp; he should have stayed and picked her up himself. He was scared that the Emperor would realize that something was wrong.
