General Asa was pushed in by two men since he had dared to give the order to ambush the king it was only normal for him to be taken as a prisoner.
"Your Majesty," General Asa was very calm and collected.
"The soldiers have confessed that you gave the order to kill the king, how do you plead?" King George asked.
"Your majesty, I am only a soldier and we all know that he who holds the Scepter of authority must be obeyed. The crown prince had asked me to make the arrangement late yesterday afternoon, I had no choice but to obey," General Asa's answer was logical.
"You do know the consequences of your actions now that you have failed," it was not a question but a statement. At first King George was confident that Richard will not play such a trick but the more he listened the more he felt that there was a small chance he was wrong.
