His alarm clock rings at 5:30 with the ringing Lovers, one of Naruto's openings, one of the anime that the boy loved most.
He started to wake up, got up from his bed and went towards his computer desk, where his dear cell phone was, he turned off the alarm and went back to his magnificent bed to sleep some more.
6:00 am
Once again the boy woke up with his cell phone ringing, but this time, the alarm clock was ringing Tokyo ghoul opening.
-Okay, now I get up… -he said still sleepy.
There was a knock on the door and then his mother's voice came.
-Jonas, come and have breakfast! It's six o'clock already, I hope you're ready for your first day!
There was a silence in the room for about five seconds before the boy found words to be able to answer.
-I'm getting ready, mom.
-Good, your father leaves in twenty minutes, do not delay if he does not leave without you!
Without saying anything else, the woman walked out into the kitchen.
Why did they have to change classes? This crazy school craze of separating students from classes with the excuse of them socializing better.
A sigh escaped the boy's lips.
If only it were three eighth years, but no, they had to join three classes in two, now my classroom has 37 students and the teachers still complain to us, students, for their mistakes.
The still sleepy boy begins to put on his school uniform and thinking about how to get through the year without falling into yet another illusion of some evil character of the school. And he, being one of the students considered short, continues to suffer Bullying over and over, does anyone realize that they are in the eighth grade and need to acquire at least a little maturity to stop this bullshit? If they don't stop now what will they be in the future? These and more questions wander the boy's mind when he leaves the room to have breakfast with his family, quickly drinking the fruit smoothie he always drank and going straight to the bathroom to brush his teeth, it was always like that with everyone, he always avoided the maximum contact with everyone. Well, all of them besides their older brother, were almost inseparable, even with the age difference of 12 years.
The time passed quickly until Jonas arrived at school with his father giving him a ride, the boy was barely breathing, such was his anxiety and insecurity of what could happen. Hiding in the usual corner, Jonas picked up his sketchbook and started drawing listening to his Sabaton playlist with his headphones. His class starts at seven o'clock and it is still 6:46, he had enough time to sketch a character.
Doodles here, eraser there, and an outline of Karma were coming up, but he had to stop for a minute before he entered the school. Some friends come near him, just to make fun of his green hair, Jonas doesn't understand why, he just ignores it and pretends to have fun with it. Feelings, reactions, and certain actions have always been difficult for him to understand, even if he studied and researched he did not understand, it seemed that it was something so simple when others spoke, but for him, it is something that leaves him impotent.
-Hey, Jonas! - said a girl approaching, Jaqueline, her childhood friend, the two don't get along very well, but from time to time they help each other- Oh, did you paint your nails, Jonas? - asked, noticing the hands of a friend.
-An, no, I got grease! - he replies ironic, without the little patience he usually has with irritating people like her.
The bell rings, interrupting any word that the girl could even think of and the director appears to impose respect on everyone, giving some information about what the year would be like. After much explanation, the students were finally able to go to their classrooms.
-Good morning, students, I'm the new math teacher, Bianca. I would like to play a game with you, as you already know, you could answer the questions that after they finish I will talk here ahead and who can guess who wins! What about? Maybe there will be extra points, right? - says the teacher encouraging the students and writing 5 questions on the board.
I don't know what's worse, staying at home doing nothing but watching anime or staying at school full of toxic people. Since I have no choice, right, let's answer that… number 1, what do you like most in life ?, hm, I never thought of that, I think watching anime with my brother. Number 2, what do you hate most in life? this is easy, the sense of people being happy with the suffering of others, both psychological and physical. Number 3, what is your favorite food? um, any kind of candy for me is already good. Number 4, what is your favorite style of music ?, it depends on my emotional state, there are times when I like to listen to Sabaton, there are times when I prefer Vocaloid and there are times when a simple opening of anime already raises my low self-esteem a little. And number 5, what is your hobby? drawing, reading, writing, and listening to music. I finally finished!
The boy complains in his mind as he answers the questions and hands them to the teacher.
When everyone finally finished they could finish the game, nobody found out when the teacher read what Jonas had written, everyone kicked a boy who even drew something in the notebook. This class ended and the new teachers got to know the students and those already known talked a little and passed some review duties.
Jonas did everything he was asked to do in silence, being surprised when a friend who repeated for a tenth in mathematics repeated his grades asked for help to do his homework, saying that he did not remember anything from the seventh year.
Some more time has passed and the students are dismissed, Jonas going to the bus stop with two friends, Denny and Diorno, the three of them were talking about anime and games until the bus arrived and separated them all.
Back at home, the boy locks himself in his room, hoping that when he left everything would be better and that he would no longer hear his mother's high-pitched voice fighting with his father.
-Tomorrow will be better ... - muttered the boy before sleeping.
To be continued…
