"Princess Alice, on a night like this, it's bad to come out of the room. Nobody knew what would happen outside the room," Jerry counseled.
Princess Alice was silent for some time. "Jer-- jerry! Are you awake? Thank god." He hugged Jerry reflectively.
Jerry was speechless. A woman hugged him with worry. For the first time, he felt this way. He hugged princess Alice back. Laid his chin on princess Alice's head.
Moments later, princess Alice took off her embrace of Jerry. "Jerry, are you okay?"
"Princess Alice, I'm fine. Thank you for caring about me."
The two of them shut the door to the infirmary and sat inside. Instead, they fell into silence. There's nothing to talk about there. They scratched the back of each other's neck. It's really awkward being alone with a man in this place.
"Eumm, princess Alice should just sleep in her room. I'll be fine in this infirmary alone."
Princess Alice chuckled. "Jerry, you are insensitive as a man. I miss you so much. My feelings for you ... it's the same."
Jerry is pensive. He never thought of this before. Thinking about love? He didn't even think about it. Just being alive is enough to make him grateful. "Princess Alice, I don't -"
"I know that you never loved me. I even liked myself as a woman. But I just want to express my feelings."
No answer, no sound. Jerry was just quietly listening to princess Alice. He really didn't know what to say. In his heart, love is not the main thing in life.
The sound of the door knocking startled them both. Jerry! Can we come in?" Ichiro and jirou are at the door. Neither of them would've come in without permission when the door was closed.
Princess Alice and Jerry did not want to be discovered that they were alone together. Princess Alice turned as soon as the door opened. Jirou and ichiro can't see their faces because they're standing back.
"Jerry, we thought you were sleeping. You didn't answer our call," jirou protested.
"Wait-wait! Who is that?" point out ichiro to princess Alice, who is increasingly worried that she will be discovered.
Jerry quickly began making excuses. "That's the guard who went in to deliver the drinks." She was lying. In fact, she was fetching her own drink before princess Alice came.
Jirou's getting suspicious because the guard he saw wouldn't turn his head. Standing with the feet a little shaky, increasingly suspicious. Jirou walked up to that guard. "Hey! You!"
Just as jirou was about to touch princess Alice, Jerry stopped his hand. Even ichiro seems confused. Ichiro thinks, what kind of a situation is this?
Jerry smiled awkwardly. "He is shy. So, just leave him like that."
"I've never known a timid guard before," ichiro said in amazement.
Jerry began to change the subject. "What do you want to come here?"
"Oh, my god, Jerry! Of course, we wanted to see how you were. You were a little bit concerned when you arrived at the palace," said jirou
"Yes, I miss us at the same time," Ichiro clapped jerry on the shoulder.
Jerry couldn't possibly be telling the truth. Especially when he almost died fighting the devil's horse in the forbidden forest. Nor would he say that he wanted to bring back his body, which was thin. Because that would lead to an unanswerable rumor eventually. Whereas, he seeks to destroy the kingdom of horathomi in a subtle and unnoticed way.
The next day, a bright sun shines through a window in the infirmary. Crashing on jerry's sleeping face. Jerry and princess Alice both slept in the same bed. Sleep opposite each other. Princess Alice woke up first. He looked at jerry's face with a smile. The scratch on jerry's cheek didn't diminish the man's good looks on his eyes.
The wind just blew out of nowhere. Making princess Alice's hair wave. That's when the girl sat down. It caused jerry to writhe as he slowly opened his eyes. But when his eyes were completely open, he jumped under the bed with shock.
Jerry! Are you okay?" asked princess Alice in amazement.
Jerry was in pain and trying to stand up. "It's okay. I was just surprised to see princess Alice in bed with me."
Princess Alice chuckled. "I'm sorry, jerry. Last night, too sleepy to walk to the room. So, I'm going up to your bed for a little shut-eye. But I didn't expect to go to bed until morning."
The door suddenly opened from the outside. Sontak, they both looked at the door at the same time. They were silent as prince Edwin stood in the doorway and gazed at them with an incomprehensible stare.
"Alice, what are you doing here?" Prince Ken walks quickly, then pulls princess Alice's hand out of the bed. Then, glancing suspiciously at jerry. "What have you done with my sister?"
Princess Alice immediately answered her brother's question. "Edwin, take it easy, he didn't do anything."
"Shut up, you! I'm asking jerry." Prince Edwin is angry now. Jerry, on the other hand, just stood there. It makes itself even more overcome by anger.
"Calm down, Edwin. Jerry wouldn't do anything disrespectful!" upset princess Alice.
"I can't calm down, Alice! Lookit! He just shut up. You don't remember? You won't notice anything when you sleep so hard." Prince Edwin has issued his concerns. To princess Alice pensive.
Princess Alice looked at jerry with a twinkle in her eyes. "Jerry, can you answer my brother's question?"
Jerry sighed and nodded. "Prince Edwin, I went to bed early last night. I didn't even realize princess Alice was sleeping with me here.
Princess Alice turned to look at her older brother. "Satisfied? No more protective play. Let's get out of this room!" Princess Alice has taken prince Edwin out. Right outside the door, they passed prince Ken. Prince Ken noticed the two of them leaving in a hurry.
"What's the problem here?" asked prince Ken.
Jerry seemed really shocked. "Prince Ken?"
Prince Ken laughed. "What's wrong with your face? Are you surprised I'm here?"
"No way, Prince Ken. Long time no see."
Jerry just laughed awkwardly. After all this time, they finally meet again. Two men leader of the armed forces, winner of the golden sword competition, and have one common goal.
"I want us to work together," said prince Ken. Now with a serious tone and look, but jerry seems confused. "Don't you hold a grudge against the kingdom of horathomi?"
