"Helena, are you sure about this?"
Xander, the young man who was with Helena, spoke with a serious expression on his face.
Helena also had a stern look on her face, but when she heard Xander's word, she nodded her head, "Yes. There's no way I'm going to leave him alone after that assassination attempt, I might as well have him with me." She said.
"Don't you think taking him inside the meeting room is a little too much just because he brought the blood rose for you?" Xander was still hoping that Helena would change her mind, and wouldn't take Devon inside that room.
But what he got was a scornful look from Helena, "When I begged you to go get the rose, you said no. But he did, without having a second thought. He has a target on his back because he is with me, so if I can't help someone who sacrificed his life for me, then I'm not qualified to be a leader."
