Grace's body shivered when she heard the words which Devon had just spoken to her. Her eyes twitched for a brief moment, as she began to access everything he had said.
Suddenly, she raised her head, and for the first time since she arrived at the scene, she stared at Devon. For some reason, the longer she peered into Devon's eyes, the more a look of pity emerged clearly on her face.
And the expression which surfaced on her face brought Devon into a state of confusion. This was a completely different experience to him as he felt how intense Grace's eyes which were staring at him were.
It was so unusual that Devon's heart was beating fast. He had no understanding of what was going on, all he knew was that the eye which Grace had on him were diverse from what he was used to seeing.
