Devon couldn't imagine the state he would be in at the moment if he hadn't met the devil. Though the devil was a lot shadier than he expected, if they hadn't met, there was a possibility that he would have died in the underground world a long time ago.
While he didn't need any of their help anymore, it was still something to think of that, not a single member of his mother's family came looking for him.
Devon hoped they better have a good explanation for their actions, cause if they didn't, then the consequence was going to be severe. He didn't matter if they were his relative, the answer to the reason why they left a fourteen years old child to wander in a place so dangerous as the underground must be spoken.
