There were six different stars on Sebastian's golden battle armor, which meant that his future accomplishments would surpass the true god realm and if he manages to have a fortuitous encounter, they were possibilities that he would step into the ranks of the celestial.
However, because of the great catastrophe war, and heaven and hell interference, the world was wiped clean of every god and the knowledge about the war. And those who were able to preserve their life had done so by hiding themselves from the eyes of the heavens.
Since Sebastian was very much willing to explode out with his full strength he must have prepared something to shield himself from heaven cause if he didn't then before he has the chance to confront the gods, his life would have been over.
