Seven days and nights had passed since the meeting between Devon, the matriarch, and the village elders.
In a room that was crammed with several books, a gold-haired youth could be seen seating on his ground, cross-legged. Besides the youth were about fifty different books all scattered around.
This place was the library which was mentioned by the matriarch. Though they were also people who were in the library, all of them seemed to maintain a good distance from the gold-haired youth.
Meanwhile, the youth currently had another book in his hand, he scrolled through the pages of the book, and when it seems like he wasn't able to find what he was looking for he dropped the book to the ground and took another one from the ground.
In the last seven days, this was what had been happening. To Devon, it could be said that this was the first time in his entire life that he was reading this much book.
