Penelope's eyes widened in shock, and disbelief at the same time. She stared at the person who had wrapped his hand around her waist and to be completely honest, she was lost for words.
At the moment, other than staring at him, she didn't know what else to do. He was the person who had killed her husband and her child, and yet he still had his body around her waist, speaking to her as though nothing had happened.
Though what her husband and children took part in was something despicable and awful, that didn't change the fact that there was a part of her. And as hurtful as one's family might hurt one, the fact still remained that there were family.
That bond was unbreakable....
Penelope's eyes stared deeply at the youth in front of her, and the more she continued to stare at him, the more she realized that this person was another set of the breed. He was completely different from any other man which she had ever encountered in her entire life.
