A kind maid escorted a trembling me to my room, where I lied down on the bed. I hugged the pillow as I cried in frustration at not being able to get away in the best way possible. I wanted to put the man in his place forever. But with a week in hand, I thought to bear with it if it didn't go overboard. I didn't realise until that happened, that he would definitely be crossing the limits after having run away from the table.
A knock on the door had me open the door reluctantly and with fear. I peeked through the door hole first to make sure it wasn't the knight in his blue and grey uniform. Noticing the gold chain hanging from his pocket connected to his belt, I opened the door warily.
The man outside was none other than the minister himself. When some of his words penetrated my heavy head, I remembered my promise to pay my respects to someone special. So I fetched my hat and gloves and then left the room with him.
