"Come along," was the command he gave when he saw us approaching the bottom of the stairs.
This time, I was back with my group of three friends. Aidan was adamant about us going out for dinner though I told him to just drop me off at home.
"This would be a good double date, won't it?" said Aidan with pure glee in his voice.
My eyes raised themselves in alarm as I comprehended the situation. He was either trying to get his revenge on him or trying to set Lucas up on blind dates. The latter seemed impossible, given the animosity that I have seen between the two of them.
I nudged him on his side, and he, the dramatic person that he was, made a huge fuss out of it. I ended up saying "Sorry!" in a hurry only to receive a teasing smile from him. Then the King's voice echoed in my head, "Perhaps, now you see my point in giving too much charity to people."
