"Miss, we have an emergency!" he screamed at the nurses in the reception like we were in grave danger.
I hid my smirking lips on his muscled back. I was surprised at his wonderful acting skills. The now eye-patched man spoke as though he was on the verge of tears and death.
The acting made my heart beat faster and my head became lighter. I closed my eyes and acted as though I was calm, with a pale face and on the verge of near death.
"Don't make your heart race so much," he whispered to me as he ran with the nurse towards the emergency room. "It will raise suspicions and you could be injected with a different substance than one intended."
"Can you elaborate on her problem?" asked the only doctor available in the emergency area.
