Water gushing and the calling noises of the gulls meant only one thing: I was near a seashore. My eyes painfully opened to the bright sunshine shining down warmly on me. The wet sand stuck to my lashes and the gaps between my fingers.
I saw the blue sea in front of me and the clear sky above us. The scent of the salty sea calmed my nerves that were about to take off into tension. I swept my red hair from my face and looked around.
I was still clothed in the pastel green gown, making one think that I had certainly gone to some ball or party but had ended up near the sea because I had become drunk. And that would be certainly what anyone would have thought when they saw me with the man next to me.
