No one spoke about the discussion that had gone on downstairs. I watched from my window as they all went their separate ways and I heard Gio and Theo trudge up the stairs to their room. For a moment I thought that I was safe from the repercussions until I heard the knock on my door. My dad walked in still dressed in his suit from work. I felt so bad that we had caused him so much trouble. I turned away from the window and stood beside it not wanting to take a seat.
"sit down" he ordered. I sat quickly on my bed. he turned my desk chair around and sat straddling it. He sighed and hummed softly not once taking his eyes off me.
"I'm sorry" I said out of impulse. He raised an eyebrow.
"For what?" he asked. I looked at him confused for a moment.
"For the party" I answered. He chuckled.
"you're not Sofia" he stated, "you wouldn't even have mentioned it if you were not caught, if you were sorry, you'd have called me the moment you heard of it."
