Richard was Mary's father he had quite an important position within the family and even held a seat as an elder, within the King family, members had specific ranks, at the top was the Patriarch, below him was the elders, these were individuals of various profession who at least had to be a stage three breaker or if they were a stage 2 breaker with exceptional talent in an profession they may be granted the right to receive the position of an elder, within the family currently there were only 50 elders, considering some were out doing missions for their selected organizations, focused on research or like Omar who had family responsibilities, they hardly met leading too little to no meetings, below the elders were the council men who were responsible for menial task and gathering resources, each one was a breaker, these were the people who actually met and made decisions for small events within the family , below them were just some small groups which were made up of testers.
Richard hearing his daughter's words immediately felt his life flash before his eyes, his daughter words almost seemed like he was rebelling, as his daughter was scolding the grandson of the patriarch and rebuking Mr. Omar's decision. The room was quiet, no one spoke including Richard, he knew this decision wasn't in his hands in regards to the punishment their family was bound to receive, the whole room looked on at the scene. Out of the 20 different families within the room some were excited, as they looked forward to Richard's family downfall, some were sad, others were curious, others were indifferent but one thing they all had in common they were silent at this moment. Suddenly a childlike voice spoke in the front saying "Girl you really do have some guts, challenging me, since you're aren't sure about your own limits let me show you today" Lucius said, honestly the fact that Lucius himself responded and said those words it was obvious this Richard's lifeline although the way he reacted was differently than the situation with Johnathan, this was only for two reasons Richard and Mary were a part of the main family, therefore letgthem suffer like Johnathan's family, as it didn't provide him any benefits, if he could just save them face at that moment that would be a family brought under his banner that easily, plus he found the little girl who spoke out against him quite interesting as well.
Hearing Lucius words Mary was quite stunned she spoke in that manner to get Lucius' attention but this wasn't the reaction she expected, but she wasn't angered by this quite the opposite, Mary was a true full bloom genius, in all honestly maybe if Lucius didn't enter the elite class it may have been possible for her to be the top figure of the class with little to no competition, so obviously she wanted to test herself against him. Although it may seem that see was young and impulsive as someone raised within the main branch of a bloodline family she had an extensive learning program crafted just for her since birth, she believed although she may not be Lucius's match , giving the way Mr. Omar behaved she at the minimum she would be able to have a good match with him and show everyone the gap between them wasn't that large. Although the people in the room were surprised with Lucius response, they honestly only cared at that moment to find out how strong the future Patriarch currently is for Omar to give him such special treatment. They quickly left the classroom to head towards an indoor arena leaving Jonathan and his son there standing looking quite miserable.
As they arrived at the arena Mary and Lucius quickly ascended the stage, Lucius being only 3 years old was only at a height of three feet while Mary was already 4 feet tall at six years, it made for quite a comedic scene for an outsider to witness if they had no previous context. As Omar waved for the match began Mary tensed up focusing her full attention towards the battle, while Lucius looked relaxed. As soon as the match began Lucius held no punches and directly summoned a trident of gas made out his telekinetic force, although it wasn't what Adam had in mind when it came to the submission of other main families breakers and their descendants it would still achieved the same effect. After summoning the trident Lucius simply directed the trident at Mary neck. at a wave of his left, before Mary could respond the tips that were blue and red respectively, arrived leading Mary to simply stare at Lucius in shock. It wasn't only her at that moment everyone within the room was the same as well, excluding Adam who just held a proud look on his face.
